Will there be founders edition models? I hear that they won't be LHR. I kind of want one just so I can recoup my spending by mining when I'm not gaming.
-
@PetaFajita just chiming in. No information yet on if we'll have the FE models.
-
I don't have the any source, but I thought that only Best Buy would carry the founders addition.
-
The thing we really want to know is are the rumors true that the non Founders cards are going to cost $2,000 or more. I think the answer is no, but please let us know tomorrow before we wait all night and end up walking away from an absurdly priced card. I would rather buy from Microcenter than the Big Yellow store but I know they will have founders for $1,199. We deserve to know the price ranges for the cards you will have before we wait all night.
-
Anyone else camping out the Saint Davids location? I'm about an hour away and heading there today after work. Been trying to get a card since last fall and I've given up hope with online drops. Going to roll the dice and camp out overnight.
-
As long as RTX3070ti sells for $600 and RTX 3080ti for $1,100. I will buy it other wise I won’t.

NVIDIA has announced that all 3070 ti and 3080 ti cards will be LHR cards.
Q) Will NVIDIA include LHR (Low Hash Rate) technology on the RTX 3080 Ti & 3070 Ti?
A) Yes, NVIDIA has announced that they will be limiting the Etherium mining performance on the RTX 3080 Ti & 3070 Ti.

Is there any information about prices, Founders MSRP is $1199 according to Best Buy. Is Micro Center going to be charging fair market rate or are they going to be charging MSRP for the third party cards?
Also, is there any idea of about how many cards will be available?
-
I wish that I had an answer to give you ahead of time! Sadly, the pricing for partner cards is still under NDA, and I don't know the amount that they will cost. I would expect it to be similarly priced, but that is just a guestimate. I'm making this guess based on the cost of the 3090 and the listed price of the FE cards in the article above.
Q) How much do the 3080 Ti & 3070 Ti video cards cost?
A) Up-to-date pricing for our cards will be posted on the website once they’re available.
As soon as we're able to share the price, we'll update our site with this information! Please keep a close eye on our website!
-
We're expecting to have stock of both the 3080 ti and 3070 ti on their respective launch dates, however, we aren't certain of the specific quantity. If we're able to get a concrete number ahead of launch we'll share that!
-
By any chance do you know if there will be stock (not expecting you to know quantities of any) of standard 3080s or 3090s on drop day tomorrow as well or just 3080Ti?
-
@Justin_Exploring It's quite possible, but I can't say anything with 100% certainty. We've been getting fairly regular shipments of several GPUs from both NVIDIA and AMD at this point.
-
Pricing being under NDA the day before the sale is ridiculous for the AIBs to be dictating. I would think Microcenter would have enough pull to demand a more reasonable NDA period. These AIBs are running things like the Wild West now and the consumers need somebody to stand up to them and say enough! If the AIBs are afraid to tell us how much they are going to charge then maybe they are gouging too much.

I bought a 3080 pre-build from micro center last weekend. Can I get the 3080 Ti instead and return 3080?
-
We can't return individual components out of pre-builts, however if the early reviews that are going up are anything to go buy, you're really not losing much performance anyway. The price increase of a 3080ti vs a 3080 is definitely not worth the minor performance increase in comparison.
I think the NDAs are mostly dictated by NVIDIA, but I don't really know how that whole process works.
-
Unfortunately not. We are not able to take components that were sold in a pre-built unit as exchanges for upgrade components. If you are looking to upgrade the RTX 3080, you can definitely explore purchasing a 3080 Ti to perform that upgrade though I would strongly recommend waiting for benchmarks to see if the performance difference warrants the price of the upgrade.

What are the chances of getting a 3070ti off of best buy right after release? My mom was gonna let me use her credit card and I was gonna stay up and try and get one for the computer I just built from parts at micro center. I don’t think she or anyone else I know would be willing to spent the night in a car or tent outside of micro center.
-
I think you would have to be extremely lucky. One good thing for you to know is that I sent my friend to Microcenter a few minutes ago to scope it out. There are only 5 people in line right now. Maybe you can go at like 4AM or something and still get one when the 3070ti comes out next week.
-
Will you'll be updating us on rather or not you'll will be selling Nvida founders edition RTX 3080ti tomorrow and RTX 3070ti on June 10th . I know you'll sold the founders edition RTX 3070 & RTX 3060ti when they released on Release day . But that was the only time you'll had FE stock
-
What time do you think I would have to get to micro center for the 3070ti launch. My local micro center is the Brentwood one.
-
We will have a variety of models but we do not have information on specifically which models.
-
Our community staff is not in a specific store, but based on demand, many hours before the store opens but we wouldn't have a way to estimate an exact time to you.
-
Does anyone who’s been to the Westmont IL store know how early I should go to get a 3070 ti?
-
I went to the one in Duluth GA last night at 7 PM to get a 3080ti. This morning they had 72 cards and I was #43 in line. I think going the afternoon before is a good target. Definitely don't expect to show up after Midnight and get a card. By Midnight there were more than 72 on the list. Also... the difference in price was big. The people at the end had to either pay $2,000 or leave. The first 40 or so paid $1,400 for almost the same quality card. I ended up paying 80 more because of my place in line but I can live with that. The less you care about the price the later you can go basically.
-
Anyone care to tell me their experience going to Micro Center in Westburry Ny long Island for the 3080ti launch? Im planning camping out there for the 3070ti launch. Want to see if its worth trying.
-
I’m from Los Angeles out in Houston for work. Can anybody share insight about how the launch was for the 3080ti? I would have to miss a half day of work to attempt to buy a card, but if they’re disorganized or anything like the Dallas location 3080ti launch I won’t even bother going there. You guys should YouTube it, I’m surprised people weren’t hurt. They should be doing it like the Ohio location, a list and constantly checking every hour or so to keep it fair and organized. Wow Dallas was the most unprofessional thing I have seen, looked like a scene in a movie.
anybody with Houston insight I’d appreciate it thank you

I am curious how much the 3070 Ti will be if they were upcharging the 3080 Ti to almost $2,000 for people later in line. I've never heard of places charging more the later in line you are, but if I need to get to the Weston, Illinois location store at 4pm the day before I am fine with that. If there is a voucher or a way to make sure they keep my place in line I can camp outside in a lawn chair or wait in my car for a full day. I have no clue if Best Buy is going to do a 3070 Ti in-store launch like they did the 3080 Ti (which sucks because they did it at a store in Madison where I live and I had no clue about it, though $1,200 for a GPU is still ridiculous when I don't need basically a 3090). Any insight into how much money to bring and what time to get there the day before?
-
I am sorry, we do not have pricing on yet to release items, and it will vary by model. The price for video cards does not change dependent on where you are in line. The only thing that would dictate the price is the model and kind of video card.
-
i want to know if the Micro Center in Tustin CA will get the RTX 3070ti on June 10?
-
Micro center support says that the 3070 Ti will launch at 10am when the store opens. Is this true?
