How long before Micro Center opening were people showing up for 30-series releases?

Honestly, I'm not sure. We had several people in line waiting for more 3000 series cards to be delivered this morning. Sadly, we still haven't received more inventory. I wish I knew what the response for the 3070 would be, but it seems even NVIDIA didn't know how much interest in new GPUs there would be.

Ok. So do you think if I arrive ~30 minutes early on Oct. 15, I should be able to get a 3070 voucher? Honestly that's hard for us to say. For the 3090's, dependent on location, people were lined up the day before. I'd keep your eyes on this thread for the release as we had a lot of customers share experiences and line information for our stores and would expect that to continue for this release. I know this is kind of last minute, but im going to my Microcenter at 8PM tonight for the 3070 Ti. 14 hours, hopefully theres no line when I show up and I'll hold up in my car for a few hours before getting on line. The idea is to be within the first 10 or so people on line, I wanna get a STRIX card if there is one.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing but not SO early. I live 3 hours away so leave at midnight maybe?

I went in this morning to get the lowdown from a few of the workers to best asses the situation and decide what time I need to line up to get a 3070 Ti. They unanimously said (separately from one another), that people started arriving between 5 and 6 pm the previous day for the 3080 ti. See you at 5...
