I want to use it for school and playing games with a budget of 500 usd

That budget is quite low for any sort of gaming, you are missing a copy of Windows from your parts list and if you do not have a monitor, etc. you would need those items. I would recommend around $900-1000 at least for a gaming PC.

I'm not going to be playing anything that demanding and I have a windows installation key

I see, in that case, then the parts you have picked out look good at that price range. You may want to look into a slightly bigger hard drive as 120GB can be run through very easily.
