Powerspec G510 massive stuttering/ frame drops.
Hey all I recently purchased a powerspec g510 at MC st davids roughly four days ago now, ever since I got it I've been trying to troubleshoot this massive stuttering/fps drop problem in every single game I've tested.
First the specs are:
Red Devil 6700xt
Ryzen 5 5600x (Stock Cooler)
Asus Prime B550M-A AC
G Skill Ripjaw 2x16gb ddr4 2133mhz (XMP enabled to 3200mhz)
High Power 600w 80+ gold (might be 650, couldn't really get a good look)
Case is a powerspec/Lian Li 205
The troubleshooting steps I've done so far as followed:
Used DDU in safe mode and tried several different drivers
Disabled PBO
Updated all drivers via AMD Auto detect
Made sure Ryzen Master was running on the default OC mode
Updated bios
Disabled XMP (and setting different memory times)
Increased DRAM voltage
Disabling Radeon Software Auto OC tuner
Disabled Freesync
Disabled Vsync
Disabled Enhanced Sync
Increased memory clock
Decreased core clock
Cleaning old drivers with the AMD cleanup utility
Disabled PCIE power saving
Disabled 10-bit pixel format
Disabled Microsoft game bar
Disabled discord overlay
Set audio channel to "stereo"
Increased the card's power limit via MSI Afterburner
Updated Ryzen Master
Set refresh rate to 60hz (from 144)
Set games to run at 1080p
Ran Memtest86, 3/4 passes with no errors
Ran crystaldisk, ssd came up as good.
Last resort clean install and install chipset/gpu drivers. What could be going wrong with this build? My temps are: GPU core: mid 70s depending on game, junction is mid 80s-90s, cpu temp is around mid 80s as well if anyone could give any insight on this matter I'd greatly appreciate it.

Greetings. with what you have tried I would try a reinstall of Windows to see if that makes any change, honestly there are not many other options you can try at this point from a software standpoint.

I recently had a frame drop issue and brought my PowerSpec in for repair. It ended up being a bad PCIx16 slot. They replaced the board and it runs flawlessly now.

I already clean installed twice so I'm assuming it's internal at this point? My friend told me it's the fact it's AMD GPU but I really don't believe that at least for the 6000 series cards, would it be worth to just have MC take a look at it or find a different build entirely? I can't really find great specs for the price though.
How long did it take them to fix the PCI and have you pick it up? I'm considering it but it's roughly an two hour drive just to drop it off, I think I may have the problem you had though (or the gpu itself being faulty, haven't had blue screens so I don't think it's psu)

Do you have another GPU you can use to help troubleshoot this? At this point you will want to try different hardware. Install another GPU in this PC and/or try this GPU in another PC if possible.
Of course you could bring it in for diagnostics and we can test it for you. Although I cannot provide a turnaround time from here. Our techs will let you know once you bring it in.

I do have an old GTX 950 but the fans internally are broken so I'm unsure if it'd be a fair test? I'm probably coming back in tomorrow (Saint Davids store in PA) I assume this is likely just a case of a faulty gpu? I'm considering having diagnostics look at it but I'm only like five days from the refund expiring. I'm assuming if those days passed while in service I couldn't refund the rig after that? Sorry for all the questions this was my first time shopping at MC.

You would still be able to return it or exchange it if you took it to the store. Even if we need a few days to complete diagnostics it will not be a problem if you ended up needing to return it.

Thank you for the response think I'm just going to drop it off and let the repair team take a crack at it, I also have a list of troubleshooting steps I've done and screenshots of hwinfo, afterburner and etc so I'll be sure to give them that, again I appreciate your help.

Sorry for the issues, we will be able to look into this issue further with you at your local Micro Center store.

Mayfield has been inundated with check-ins lately. Call your local store to see how many days to bench they are. I needed a new MOBO, we had one in stock so once they figured out what was wrong it was done in a day.

So I went back to the saint davids MC later than expected (there was a huge line at returns) so I had a employee help me out and he told me it sounded like a faulty gpu so he took out another one from the back and replaced it, I know for a fact it was another sealed box and when I return home you can guess the stuttering is appearing again, at this point I feel this is something electrical whether it be the power supply or my house's electrical work. I do know in the basement there's some problems with sockets but my room has always been fine, going off of experience I've had 5 different spec pc's from different prebuilt companies in 8 months and all of them suffered the same exact problem (heavy stutters/fps drops with frametime spikes). I just find it hard to believe all computers have a hardware problem, definitely going to call an electrician asap.
