i own a g351 which will not boot to windows forgot my pass phrase
my name is joe discala sorry to say I taught computer lab for 8 years on computers with regular BIOS. just bought a power spec g467 but I would like to use the351 which dose not use so much lights. hope to find key for factory reset.

Hello @joedi. Welcome to the community!
If you have forgot the password to login then you can reset Windows and it will wipe all data including the user account password. If you have signed in with a Microsoft account, you may have other options such as a PIN.
You do not exactly need a key to factory reset the PC either and you can actually do this without a password. Here is how: https://community.microcenter.com/discussion/2272/how-to-reset-refresh-windows-10

I had accident some months ago broke my hips, forgot my pass phrase. I did not want to log into computer so I did not create an admin or microsoft account. When I get to reset this pc I get stuck there. also my built in cdrom not working. I put in usb cdrom but I dont know how to get computer boot to other drive. not use to using anything but BIOS type computer

When you try to enter your password, does it just say "invalid password" or does it make any mention of resetting a Microsoft account?

it says you cant sign into your device right now. go to account live.com to fix the problem. I need to regress here I have a g351 and i put in a pass phrase with all ones dont know how many. broke my hips some months back and my personal assistant went to log me off i pleaded with him to let me do it but what ever he did it would not log back on. I taught computers many years and never had problems fixing any computer but with a legacy bios. so the machine wants me to log into a windows account which i do not have. i just need to log into windows and not being able to walk I have not been able to get to microcenter. please help me.

I should have added that I got to panel 4 but I got stuck at that point

Sounds like it's tied to a Microsoft account with an email if it is advising you go to account.live.com - you can do that from another PC, enter in the email you have tied to your account and select "Forgot password" and follow the prompts on Microsoft's website.
