How is Windows 10 on disc installed in a new build when the cases shown do not have room?
I am putting together a build and will be getting Windows 10 Pro on disc. But the cases shown in the build list to pick from do not have any external openings to install one or more BD/DVD writeable drives.
Are there cases still that can have those drives installed in them in the store? Or will the copy I purchase be installed from the disc when my build is made?
Some of use still like to use a physical medium sometimes like a dvd or BD.
Or will I just have to spend more and get Windows 10 Pr 64bit in the USB version?
I already own Windows 10 Pro. Would I be able to bring in my current version and have that installed instead?

Greetings. If you are having the service department in-store build your PC, they can install it from a disk or USB purchase or you can supply it to them with a valid key.

I upgraded to 10 Pro online from Windows 7 Pro when Microsoft was giving the free upgrades.
Do I need to bring in a print out of the code on my pc now?
If I did that, would I need to bring in a USB drive with the latest version created from the Microsoft Media Creation tool?

it depends, if its the free upgrade from a retail store bought Windows 7 license (as in, you had a Windows key / specific Windows 7 Pro packaging), it should be transferable to a new computer / motherboard.
If its the free upgrade from a OEM preinstalled (such as a pre-built desktop), it is not transferable to a new computer or motherboard.

First will have to find my Windows 7 Pro install disc. Forgot where I got it. If I remember correctly, I got it from Microcenter as the OEM version.
I got the Windows 10 free install from the Windows Update itself.
I do know that I installed Windows 7 Pro from a dvd when I built my current pc.
