Can I still buy a warranty if I didn't buy the case from MC?

Greetings, Micro Center warranties are only available for purchases made at Micro Center.

So if I buy everything at Micro Center except the case, those parts are eligible for a warranty but just not the case? I guess I'm just wondering if having one non-Micro Center part disqualifies the rest of the parts from being under warranty

That's correct, you can buy protection plans over the build which would cover what was bought from us or specific individual parts as long as they are purchased from us. You can bring in your own case and have them do the build in that case, that's not an issue.

Also don't think of MC's warranty's as that, but think of them more like insurance on the parts. It's much more convenient to take things back for replacement with MC rather than dealing with the backlog hassle of dealing with RMA's through individual companies. The protection plans are worth every penny in the long run.
