Warranty length on an open box, Microcenter-refurbished iPad?
Hi I'm a bit confused and so thought I'd ask over here
I just bought an open box, Microcenter-refurbished iPad (ie, NOT refurbished by Apple)
I understand that Microcenter-refurbished products carry a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase
Is this also true for open box items that were refurbished by Microcenter?
Does my 90 day warranty start on the day I bought it, or since it's open box, has a portion of that 90 days already been used up by the previous purchaser who then returned it
It was difficult for me to get a clear answer from the checkout person at the online order pickup desk

Greetings. It would be 90 days from your date of purchase.
To clear up another part of this post, the iPad was not refurbished by Micro Center, it would have been done by a third party Apple authorizes to refurbish their products.

Regarding the refurbished nature, I guess what you mean is that this is not official "Apple refurbished" as those carry 1 year warranties and even show up as having warranty when you look them up by serial number on Apple's warranty check website
When I look up this particular iPad, it shows up as having no warranty on Apple's website (and shows "coverage expired" in the Settings -> About section on the iPad itself)

If you have an warranty issue within the 90 day period, you would bring it back into Micro Center for assistance with this.
