Hi, I bought my PC last week. i just found how to get my Microsoft product key but, My Microsoft key is not been recognized. What do i need to do?

Apologies for the delayed response.

When you say you just found your product key, but it hasn't been recognized, what do you mean?

Could you give me an example or screenshot of what you're referring to?

Thank you for your response. What I mean is that I used the command prompt to find the Microsoft Product Key. When I entered the product key I get the following message: "Please double-check your product key and try again. We're having trouble recognizing it." Please see attachment. I have entered the product key many times. Why is my product key not working or been recognized? Is the product valid?

I assume you used "wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey" to find your OA3 key from the manufacturer? This is injected in the firmware, you should never have to enter this manually. Check your activation status, type: slmgr -ato

Let me know what command that message returns from an elevated command prompt.

MS Office is separate from MS Windows. You need a MS Office License or Subscription to activate Word/Office

@pjs is correct here. Your OS is activated, the included office is a trial only. You can activate the trial temporarily, but you would need to purchase office. It's not included with the PC unless it's specifically stated.

@TSMikeW I bought this computer October 30th, i was told that it came with MS office installed, The Box states MS office installed... is this false advertisement? One major reason i got this for my kids.... Not only gaming but for educational purpose as well. Can you escalate this please and open a ticket?
