Do I need my 4pin connector?
I am going to overclock my core i7 10700k and I am just wondering do I need a 4 pin cpu connector?

Good Morning @RuiChiao
For the cpu 4 pin connector if you are planning on overclocking it you would want to have that connector plugged in as this will allow for the additional voltage it needs for the cpu to over clock.

Would I be able to do some light overclock if without the 4pin?

What brand/model of cooler are you using to cool the processor?
Basic overclocking for gaming etc. wouldn't put that much stress on it.

I’m using a NZXT kraken z53

Shouldn't be any concern then.
