Hello @standuke! Welcome to the Community.
Which model of Winbook tablet do you have? We can provide driver downloads and touchscreen files if we know exactly which tablet you have. -
Hello TSTonyV,
I have a TW100 and the drive got trashed by a virus... no hope of recovery. so i wiped it and installed Win 10 Pro 32 bit. Now the touch screen doesn't work. do you have the correct driver and installer?
best regards,
Jim L. -
@jim_l
Sent you a DM with a link to the drivers. Let me know know if you have questions. You can reply here if you like. -
I have the same issue, slightly different , just reset my TW100, touchscreen not working at all . Code 51 error on driver for I2C HID Device . Will add screenshot
Jim , how did you manage to reinstall, with a USB ? I could not get the device to detect the USB , I reset instead .
Edit: Also audio is not working , no idea what caused it, tried resetting windoze but same driver issue
2nd Edit: I tried re-installing drivers, I have these https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13_Q9Z3f6Ig-D-xdazs6ytTm_s6gaT1k-?usp=sharing , not sure if they are right though ? -
I sorted it by reinstalling the Intel I/O , none of the official or stock drivers work . Seems on every quarterly build I have to do this . I am now gonna flip this tablet as I cannot be bothered remembering this solution each time . But here it is

I also have upgraded to WIndows 10 on my two TW100 tablets and have no tough screen or audio capability. Would appreciate the TouchScreen.gt file and help on audio. Thanks.
-
I sent you a DM with a link to the drivers and the TouchScreen.gt file. The driver link contains the audio drivers as well.
-
Thank you!

You're welcome, please let us know if you have any other questions!

Hello,
I found my way here because I also lost the touchscreen feature on my WinBook model TW100.
Please send me the link for the drivers needed to fix the problem.
Thx
-
Hello, I'll send you an email regarding this.
-
Hi Ian, I would appreciate help with this same issue. (No Touchscreen and No Audio Device).
Neither of these appear in Device Manager. They don't show up after displaying Hidden Devices, or after Scan for Changes.
I received an emailed driver package from "Avery M." @ Microcenter which appear to be for Windows 7. I've been unable to find a way to used them. I'll attach photos of my Device Manager. No Touchscreen, No Sound, several "unknown" devices and a malfunctioning "PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller.
Thanks for your help.

I have the same touchscreen and audio issue, can I get the drivers please?
-
Can I get an email too please?
-
Hello I have sent you an email with more information on this.
-
Sorry for the delay in response, looking into that ticket, we sent you the Windows 10 drivers, we do not have any other drivers available. Here's information on how to install those drivers manually: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-install-and-update-hardware-drivers-in/a97bbbd1-9973-4d66-9a5b-291300006293

Hi I have the same issue can I also get the drivers for Windows 10? (audio and touchscreen)
-
For those with audio and battery status issues, the below thread finally worked for me. However I could not get the touchscreen to work even with the GT file in the INF folder.
Any more tips for the touchscreen?
Thanks!
-
I fixed the touchscreen, I had to reinstall the goodix touchscreen HID from HP and then added the touchsetting.gt file to fix the calibration. It was a PITA but I finally got it. Hopes it helps those with current issues.
-
I am glad to hear you got that worked out. Sorry for the delay in emailing you the touchsetting.gt file.
-
Can I get a copy of the driver?
-
Greetings, what specific model of WinBook would this be for?
-
i have TW101 8" Winbook and after reset of windows 10 the touchscreen does not work. please provide fix. perhaps i need touchsetting.gt file for INF subdir? Thanks
-
I have a TW802 tablet that was recently updated (Win 10) and, as a result, lost both its touchscreen ability and the audio driver. Admin, can you please send me the appropriate driver(s)? I love my tablet and want to keep using it. Thank you.
-
I realize I'm like 6 months late, but...
A long time ago on a previous discussion board, a number of us worked this out. But Microcenter has replaced that board without copying over the content.
From back then, here's an archive of TW802 information for rebuilding it with Windows 10. It includes a ZIP of drivers and instructions on how to restore the touchscreen.
I have not used my TW802 since I got my Surface 3 a long time back. But maybe something in this collection will help.

Not to revive a dead horse or whatever the saying is, but OP did you get your touchscreen working? I have the same issue and followed the steps in the linked drive. It found all the drivers, and I copied the touchsettings.gt to C:\Windows\Inf and rebooted, but I still don't have touch or audio output.
