PC build/upgrade
Hello all. I am looking to update my PC build. I currently have an EVGA 770 Classified and I'm looking at trying to keep it due to not wanting to spend a ton of money on a new graphics card since I don't play anything that really needs anything better than that. I'm wondering what kind of of issues I may run into while building a new system with current or last gen MOBO and CPU combos. I'm not stuck on AMD or Intel just looking for an upgrade from my current Z77 stinger board with 16gb ram and i5 3570k.

Greetings. What is your intended budget for the parts?

Id like to stay on the lower end of 2k which is why im looking at reusing my 770 if possible.

What kind of programs / functions do you plan on using the PC for?

work mostly and a few older games. Really just need to know if I can reuse my old 770 or if I need to purchase a new one. I'm looking at something along the lines of b550 am4 atx board and a ryzen 7 of some sort or another. when I'm doing the PC builder it says a 730 is not compatible but not why so just looking to see if it is an option to reuse my 770 or if i need to buy a new video card which at least doubles my cost at the least.

I'm open to intel equivalent as well but I'm looking at AMD for price.
