What graphics card to get to 4K for Zwift and Rouvy?
I have an HP h9-1183 purchased at MIcro Center years ago. ( tried to post a link, but I'm too new).
I'd like to be able to run Zwift and Rouvy ( indoor cycling trainer/games) at 4K. Only other need is that it needs to be able to support three monitors.
Is there a graphics card around $300, or so that would let me do this and is likely to be in stock?
Thanks for the help, E

For the budget the only card you want to look at is rtx 3050 at $330, however I do not think it would be such a great experience have it gaming on 4k

Actually, let me correct myself. After a bit of search onto the two game you mentioned, I think you will be completely fine with 3050 running them on 4k.

Well the Zwift website says "optimal" graphics are at least a GTX970 but no mention of resolution, 4K, etc. So... we're kinda guessing here but I'd say yingdong's idea of a 3050 is probably good. Your 3770 CPU would be holding back by anything higher than that. To upgrade that though means a whole new system.

Thanks to you both. It looks like that card is out of stock, both here at my two stores (Fairfax and Rockville) and everywhere else. If you've got one or two more easy suggestions that might work, great. If not, I'll make the long drive to one of the stores and see what that gets me.

It is your only choice for the budget, the others cards like 6500xt, 1650 or 1660 would not likely do your job. And that is literally why it is oos everywhere. I would advice you to wait for it to restock(the Evga rtx 3050 xc).
In video games the recommended sytem requirement often means targeting 1080p@60fps, while the lowest system requirement vary by games and manufacturers, some targets 1080p@30fps, some do 720p@60fps and some with 720p@30fps.

Thanks, I'll wait a bit to see what happens with stock.
This application might be a little different that typical games? Rouvy is more like streaming 4k video at a pace that the bike trainer controls. Not sure if that would be less intensive or not.
Either way, you've both been great for answering.

Did just find this.

Guess I can try to find a new system on the list close to my old one and see what card might work?

Rouvy will be completely fine, any modern GPU will do it fine. The true problem comes with Zwift.
