Fans

Yeah the corsair fans are kinda confusing; I have a bunch of them too.

I'm going to assume you bought one or more Corsair 3 packs of lights. These come with the three fans, a Lighting Node Core and an RGB Hub.

So, there are two cables coming out of the fans if they're the type with lights. One cord goes into the RGB Hub, which takes up to 6 fans. Then RGB Hub plugs into the Lighting Node Core, which has 2 spots to plug in RGB hub. Then the Lighting Node Core plugs into a motherboard USB 2 header. << Is all this what you already have figured out? All the fan lighting is working OK?

Now, the above is to make the lights work. To get the fans to spin is the other cable coming out of each one. These need to be plugged in to fan headers, of which there are none on the Core or Hub. You need to plug them in to motherboard headers. Most motherboard don't have anywhere near enough so you need some kind of splitter to share. Either a powered splitter that does anywhere from 6 to 12 or else get some 2- or 3- way splitter cables.
