New to PC building and would appreciate feedback
I am wanting to build a PC that will be mainly used for gaming and would like feedback / thoughts on this build before I go through with it. Would like to try to stay beneath $2500 (excluding tax) .

1000W is excessive but doesn't hurt. Is there some reason you went that big? An 850W would be plenty and probably cost noticably less.

There isn't much of a reason other than not being sure as to how much safe space wattage wise to have between consumed and available, plus being some what future proof for possible upgrades. Though I don't see any in the near future so I will swap it for a 850 W. Thanks for feedback!

Hello, everything looks good. 64GB of RAM is a bit much if you're just gaming. You could easily drop that to 32GB and grab an i7 instead by moving some of your budget around.

Thank you for the input. I mainly put so much emphasis on the RAM in order to play heavily modded minecraft and feared not having enough for larger packs, but upon further "investigation" , a quick google search, I realized that 64GB is quite excessive. Would you recommend going with just a 2x 16GB config or a 4x 8GB config?

2x16gb kit is much more future proved than 4x8gb stick while it's much better in term of system stability(consumer grade motherboards support only dual channel ram instead of quad channel, so that 4 sticks would actually hurt compatibility and stability)

Thanks for the info!
