Ender 3 Pro: removing filament purge around print
Is there a way to remove the thin layer of initial purge that surrounds the print before printing? It is so thin that scraping gouges my surface. Various bed temps haven't helped. I'm sure there is a trick out there.

Greetings, hard to say without seeing an example, but possibly something is built up inside the nozzle? Raise the temperature and verify there's nothing clogging. If it's an issue with just some prints, you can check your start height for the purge line and check the slicers “initial layer print height” make sure the print height is similar to that of the start code.
