PC reconfig question

Hi there,

Last year, I built a new PC for the first time and it was alot of fun, but as you probably all know, the prices of everything were sky high. I ended up with a AMD 5800X, ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI), and an Asus Strix 3070 TI, but I really wanted a 3090 TI.

Fast forward to today. Looks like RTX 40 series are out, but it looks like a total rebuild with everything. My question is this. If I wanted to buy a newly reduced 3090 TI, and maybe upgrade to a 5950X, what power supply would you recommend? 1000W or 1200w? Also, is my motherboard ok for this?

I feel like this would be a good setup if my motherboard could handle it. If not, I'll just wait a few years and just upgrade everything once all the bugs are worked out.

Thanks!

Mike
