Is it worth upgrading my prebuilt or building a new pc?
Hey All,
I am looking to finally upgrade from my prebuilt, but was wondering if its worth upgrading my prebuilt or building a whole new pc? I have a cyberpowerpc prebuilt (AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, B550AM mobo, 16 GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 6700XT, 1 TB SSD, up to 800 watt PSU)
Any suggestions appreciated!

Your build is quite balanced, to have a significant lift would require to upgrade most components. I also don't see a point for upgrade it, it should do qhd gaming pretty well already. But if you do insist, it all comes down to what do you do with your pc. If you want to go 4k gaming, go grab a 3080ti/3080 12g, if you are doing some cpu heavy tasks, go get a 5900x. If you are a content creator who suffered from ram insufficient, get another 2x 8gb ram pack.

What is it not doing well enough, exactly, that you want to upgrade? like yingdong said that's a decent system already.

I currently am having a black screen issue with my graphics card, after trouble shooting for a month I have been unable to fix it so I was looking to switch to a 3070 or get a whole new pc in general.

I assume it is too old to be under warranty still?
That 6700XT performance wise is just about the perfect match for the 3700X CPU. What brand was it? If the performance was good enough for you I suggest getting another of the same, perhaps a different brand depending on what the old one was.
