Am I supposed to get the full 1 year limited warranty from Apple when purchasing Macbook from MC?
So I just bought a new MacBook from MC so I was expecting to see a 1 year limited warranty from Apple for it, but I checked the Macbook's setting and see only a few months left on the limited warranty, can someone explain why is this happening? Does Vendor Warranty means it's you guy's warranty or Apple's? I don't really understand what "Vendor Warranty, Parts: 1 Year Limited, Labor: 1 Year Limited" means, can someone help me understand it? Thank you!

Welcome to the forum. I merged both of your threads to keep things clean. As for your question, your MacBook does have a 1 year warranty. It takes time for Apple to get information from our Point of Sales system to update on their end. You should be able to do this manually by going to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ and entering your Macbook serial and updating the date of purchase. If you are looking at the serial on your receipt, remove the first S as that S designates "Serial" and is not part of the actual serial number.
Warranty coverage should begin on the date of purchase and last until 1 year later. We are an authorized service provider for Apple, so you can always bring it back in to us for warranty repairs if needed.

Hi! thank you for the reply! So I tried this website in your comment to update my purchase date, but then an error showed up when I tried to do so:

Looks like they are going to manually request the invoice (receipt) through their support channel. Regardless, this should automatically update itself. We have record of your purchase and your warranty will always be valid within that period.
