First pc build: I'm really confused... can you lmk if these parts are compatible with each other?

- I need a long lasting (maybe 5 yrs?) pc, and I want it to be good for working/multitasking (like lots of chrome tabs in the background for example) but also very good for gaming. Gaming is not the priority though, but I still want it to run all games smoothly.
- I'm trying to keep the pc at around the $2000 mark, plus or minus
- Please lmk if this build is compatible with its various parts, and if it's just good value overall (what would you change?)
I've heard of terms like bottlenecking and whatnot, do you think it's a problem here?

Glad to help! NZXT AIO wouldn't be a problem, only possible issue is that it is another software you would have to deal with for the RGB unless you are able to get everything under control through the motherboard's software which is Armory Crate or Aura Sync for ASUS

Looking at what you have listed here, all parts would be compatible! My only recommendation, if you plan on using this for a long time, is getting a larger storage drive! 2TB should be good for a bit.

would you think that dealing with an NZXT Kraken AIO would be troublesome when the case is corsair (and has 3 corsair fans)? it seems that MicroCenter doesn't have a 280 mm iCUE H100i ELITE LCD XT available, so i would have to get a iCUE H150i instead (which is 360mm). With a 360 mm radiator, I wouldn't be able to put it at the top of my 4000d case… which is less than preferable..?
thanks for your insights above though! i'll likely get 2TB instead.
