Questions about my Powerspec B940's 13900k

So I don't know if you guys have heard, but rumors are swirling about the 13900k in particular having about a 50% failure rate in terms of some type of chip degradation over time, which leads to instability. Level1Tech has a good video about it on youtube titled "Intel has a big problem" that he posted last week if you want to know what's going on with that.

In my case, luckily, when I got this system from Microcenter last summer, I undervolted and set up a reasonable power plan for the 13900k pretty much right out of the box (speaking of that y'all definitely set the default settings way too high when you fiddled with the BIOS for this. This system is a 240mm AIO and you had it set the PL1 and PL2 to 4096 watts, thats crazy lol). I think because of my own due diligence, my 13900k in particular has had no such instability so far (knocks on wood). I am still concerned however, as this issue is affecting a large number of 13900k's and it could only be a matter of time until my currently behaving one starts failing.

My question is this:

I'm experienced with how things work when getting OEM parts, but this is my first pre-built computer that I've purchased in a long time. If Intel does some sort of recall or some kind of compensation for owners of 13900k and 14900k's in the near future (I don't think it's crazy to epect something like that happening in regards to this issue), would I be able to take advantage of such offers? Or am I out of luck because the 13900k that I own was purchased in a bundle/already made system? Or, does Microcenter offer any sort of assistance for this problem in particular perhaps? Sorry if this isn't really a tech support question, per-se, but I don't know where else to ask!

Thanks!

We understand your concern and we have also seen the reports of instability with the 13900K/14900K. We haven't seen very much of it on our systems at this time. In those instances we've set Intel stock power limits, and offered assistance with undervolting to regain lost performance. And we've offered to replace the CPU under warranty.

We are waiting to hear more on the root cause of the issue. If Intel offers any type of extended warranty program, PowerSpec systems will be included.

I can't provide much additional information at this time, but specifically on the B940 if you're using the system in the original hardware configuration, I don't expect you'll ever encounter this issue within the life of the system.
