Is there an upgrade path or do I build/buy something new?
I'm about as novice as it gets to PC Gaming. I picked up a 2023 HP Victus 15L Desktop for a couple hundred bucks and its ok, Id like to run AAA titles at more than 30 FPS in 1080p though.
Current set up
CPU - Ryzen 5 3400G
GPU - AMD Radeon RX6400 (4GB GDDR6)
RAM - 16 GB DDR4
Is there an upgrade path or should I just cut losses and build a new PC?
Would it be better for me to take my PC to Micro Center and get their opinion at the store?

The 3400G is not a bad CPU and 16GB of RAM is sufficient. For 1080P gaming, I would look at upgrading from the RX6400 to an RTX4060 or RX7600XT. You might have to check the wattage on your power supply, but it is likely fine. The RX6400 is a 54W GPU and the 4060 is a 115W GPU (the 7600XT is a 165W GPU).

So I opened my PC and I have a 350w power supply. Should I go ahead and upgrade to a bigger power supply as well?

Hello! The recommended 'minimum' for the RTX4060 would be 550W and the RX7600XT is 650W. If you are able I recommend upgrading the PSU as well. 750W is generally the standard.
