G729 Geiger counter noise from AIO?
I had to return the first one cause that one had a grinding noise from the pump, but now this replacement I got developed Geiger counter noise (like noise from Fallout when you get Rad).

How long have you had this one?

It’s been 6 days now. It doesn’t always happen, and whether it’s under load or not doesn’t seem to matter. Hopefully it is normal?

Sounds like air bubbles trapped in a closed loop system. Sounds like gurgling usually. Does that sound correct?
-
No, it’s not a gurgling noise. I’ve reuploaded the video of the sound (link below). It sounds more like a ticking or HDD. I tested it again to see the pattern, and it seems to become more noticeable when the CPU temperature rises to around 67–70°C under load + Higher RPM fans, then quiets down and/or disappears once the temperature drops back to average. My CPU Temp avgs around 55-63 during gaming.

Strange, I can hear it. Could be the pump or bearing. You might try adjusting the fan speed in the BIOS and seeing if you can replicate the sound by setting the headers to full speed. Verify it's the pump.

I started up my desktop for work today, and it’s now making noise even when idle, occurring more frequently than before. Adjusting the fan speed to full and then back to normal in Gigabyte Control Center seems to eliminate the noise source but comes back eventually.
For the first day or two, there was no noise at all. I suspect the issue will continue to worsen after the return window, so I plan to return the unit and get a different model. Based on what I’ve seen from others on this forum and my experiences, it seems the Cooler Master AIO is the source of these problems.

We apologize for the trouble with the new units. This type of issue is also warrantied for a year under our manufacturer warranty.

Thank you, but I can’t risk any downtime without a computer due to the nature of my work. I’ll look into getting a newer model, even if it costs a bit more.

Got the other model, and it’s whisper quiet. I'm surprised how quiet it is and thought G729 fan noises were normal. So far, no issues. I honestly think there’s a big issue with the G729, the fans were so loud right from the start even at idle, etc. Even my wife mentioned why my PC fans was blowing so loud.
