PowerSpec G760 AIO Cooler whine/buzz

The PowerSpec G760 I bought has an incredibly high pitched/annoying whining sound, even when my PC is idling. After process of elimination, I narrowed it down to the AIO cooler.

I have to turn the pump fan down to 60% for the noise to go away. And when I gradually adjust it back up, the whine comes back with a vengeance at 70%+.

Has anyone else encountered this? Do we know what the root cause can be? It's not a gurgling sound so I don't think it's air bubbles. 

And is there a better workaround than changing the pump fan speed? 

Right now I've set the fan curve to be 60% all the way until 60C, then it ramps to to 70-80-100% as temperatures go above 70C.

    Does it go away if you apply pressure to the plastic cap on the block?

    @PowerSpec_MikeW I just tried that but the noise persists. The only thing that works is turning the AIO Pump fan down to 60% in the BIOS. I took a video of the sound:

    Sounds like we need to replace AIO in that case.

    Thank you for your help, Mike! I took my PC in for a warranty repair, and after some back and forth with the store, they replaced my AIO with a Thermaltake. Now my PC is completely silent while idle! 

    If anyone else runs into a similar issue, I highly recommend replacing the AIO.

    I just picked a G458 system and having a similar issue. I tried adjust the fan curve described above but am still hearing the fan spins up and down when booting up, signing on or browing a web page.

    I am not sure if I can troubleshoot this or if there is a different cooling solution that can be substitute. Thanks.

    Hmm, my problem was that this buzzing was happening even on idle. And the way I troubleshot this was by turning down each fan individually until i found the one making the noise.

    For you, it might not be the AIO Pump but maybe a mechanical fan somewhere? 

    Also I'm not sure if you have Armoury Crate with Fan Xpert or not, but once you boot up, Fan Xpert takes over and no longer uses anything you set in the BIOS, in case that might be the issue.
