Is my bios causing my issues
In dire need of bios update for the G455 PowerSpec, SKU 798637, Pro Z890 P Wifi, Intel Ultra 7 265KF, DDR5. This computer has fought me since day one in everything from administrative rights to system32 boot failures and dll issues with the only 3 programs dedicated to the computer. My previous PowerSpec never gave me such issues, so I am at a loss what is happening here. I can't find a single update that fixes anything. I am using the top software of its field and even their techs can't figure out what is happening here after giving them tons of crash reports, including Windows crashes and error reports for months now.
The bios is still from January 2025. I have even done a clean reinstall and another reset and nothing works. In fact, it seems to get worse with each Windows repair/install. I just tried it a few weeks ago again and there are tons of missing folders and files causing all day crashes of my program. I have done about 10 clean installs in the past on 8 different kinds of computers and never had a failed issue like this is repeating. Nothing has been replaced at all from the original store build. I only added one additional hard drive which works perfectly.
Only attached items are a hardware controller, OWC thunderbolt hub, Logitech mouse, ILok, and audio interface. Occasionally I attach an external drive (SanDisk/Micron) for tranfers, but I don't leave it attached. I have done dozens of tests with things attached and even removing things one by one to test if they could be causing conflicts.
I tried reseating everything and it didn't improve anything. Memory tests all passed. I haven't even done anything but buy the related software and install it on this machine. I am spending 6-10 hours a day troubleshooting for the last 3 months and nothing is improving. The WD Blue SN5000 2tb is the C drive and has the latest firmware installed. DISM and SFC don't fix anything. Nearly every scan ends with "no corruption found" for the last year, yet the corruption is more than obvious, it's constant and in control of my computer, even with a clean install, one program only installed and it fails to load or work properly.
Even checking my Microsoft account verifies every time I am logged in, no other logs from any other IP address, so I can rule out any possible breach through that route. I have had my wifi card and bluetooth disabled in device manager since day one, so I can't be breached there either. I am hardwired and the only user of my computer and internet connection. I am listed as the sole administrator/device owner, yet I can't get my 3 programs to let me do simple plugin installs and the program blacklists the plugins because of some weird administrative hold.
User accounts show me as the only user. Yet I can't control 3 programs and their own modules and third party plugins? I can't make half the changes I need to things without needing to make myself an administrator of a single exe. file? When I am already the full administrator of the computer and the C drive when I check the security tabs? I can't even export all of the WER files for uploading to the companies because of some weird administrative block. On just a few of the files? I can export 10-20 other WER files with the same program, same format, but not a few of them? I never had to be an IT tech before. What changed with this computer that has forced me into this tech switch? I just want to use my computer like I have before, not spend all day being a tech when I am not one.

We just finished a new BIOS for the platform that I can upload tomorrow, but that's not a likely fix. It sounds like you're facing instability causing gradual data corruption. Start with memtestx86 and see what errors you see, if any please.

Downloaded it and should have results by tomorrow also for you. Thank you

I believe I might need a driver package also for backup purposes. Am I correct in that you have a different driver package than the MSI/Intel/Realtek direct or MSI Installer would offer and install? Based on the store configuration as it left the store?

Our driver sets are available on Windows Update and download automatically.
This is the BIOS, based on 1AE1.

Thank you for the bios update.
The memtest passed 100%. It was the free 4 pass version that I used.
After a final transfer of personal files before downloading the memtest, I restarted and left the room and upon returning the computer had somehow reinstalled windows instead of restarting. The home page was strange looking and I couldn't even use a mouse to do anything, even restarting. I tried to reinstall the original bios from MSI download and it wouldn't recognize the file at all. I cleared the CMOS and it still couldn't load the original bios.
I then downloaded the most recent MSI bios from June 2026 and it worked. I then did a clean install of Windows and it is acting like it should be. I haven't had time to use it or install anything yet because the memtest needed a working Windows to run and it ran all night. I will post a quick update after your bios is installed and about a week of testing to see if the 3 dedicated programs I use are working correctly and reopening the projects I worked on.

The bios update is not being seen by the computer. I now have only the MSI version E7E34IMSI.AE0 available only as the root bios, the same one I had to install to get the computer working again yesterday. The M-Flash utility instantly recognized the MSI download from the bios utility, but the one you just gave me isn't being seen. The utility sees my drive, FAT32 format, 32 gb, but no bios within it, only a directory that shows without an option to choose and press enter to flash.
I found a thread on MSI that had someone with a similar issue and the response from an MSI rep was that the file numbers have to match up in some way the same for the computer to recognize it. Even recommending to rename it to get it to work correctly.
If all that is not working is the name not being recognized, what would I do to correct this to make the bios update get recognized in M-Flash mode? Or should I do something else altogether or wait until you make a correction for my system to accept the update?

From the BIOS, press Control + Alt + T for advanced flash mode. See if it's detected there.
