Power up issue?

Options
Computer will turn on for 3ish seconds then turn off then return on.  This will continue until I turn the switch off in the back.  So far my solution to when this happens is to just randomly unplug and replug wires in until it works.  Anyone else run in to this problem and have a solution for it?

Hello @GFC, welcome to the Micro Center Community!

Issues like these usually signify something is improperly plugged in wrong and the PSU/Motherboard is detecting an issue and trying to prevent it.  A common reason is using a cord from a different power supply.  Another one is trying to use the GPU cables in the CPU header or vice-versa.
  • I have the same issue, however my computer was perfectly fine for the last 5 yes. Got up this morning and it was doing this. So I doubt that something plugged incorrectly.

Please list your system specs. Also, when does this mostly happen? Is it when the system has been off for several hours? Or when it's only been off or a few minutes?
