Cracked screen - HP ProBook 4540s - DIY replacement

I cracked the screen on my HP ProBook 4540s.
Questions: Can I replace it myself? Do I have the right part number? Where can I order it?
Backstory: Online chat can’t help me get the right replacement screen without the serial number that I don’t have because the screen is broken and I can’t see it. I can’t get through on the phone. I live in San Antonio now so I can’t just go in to Microcenter. I think the correct part number is 683482-001. I want to DIY the replacement because I don’t live near a Microcenter anymore and I already DIY replaced the keyboard when I spilled a latte in it, so I think I can handle it.

I understand you are interested in looking for a replacement screen, although we do not appear to be able to ship out any replacement screens I can confirm that your computer will use either 683482-001 or 683483-001. Many laptops will have the wireless antenas running on the sides of the screen which is why 683483-001 may be another possibility. Cool. Thank you! Is it possible for Microcenter to look up when I made the purchase and tell me the serial number so I can be sure I have the right replacement screen? I don’t know what I did with the paperwork and that’s the only other way I can think of to get it. Or I can drive to Houston and pay the $99 to get it fixed. No idea where to take it in San Antonio!
