Recent build booting issues

Running the ROG-strix-x570-e MB with 64gb G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Dual Channel Memory Kit F4-3600C16D-32GTZN. Everything had been running for great for the last month, I unlocked the XMP to run the proper speeds and all good. Go to bring the computer on this morning and im getting a 0d error code on the board with all four sticks in, pull two and can boot fine with any of the four sticks. I also noticed the ram is no longer running 3600 but instead 2133 MHz.

-Updated bios

-Tried all four slots, in proper pairs and singles

Do you think my board is going bad? The RAM? I got it all through MC with warranty, its just odd for it to stop all of a sudden no? Whats your thoughts?

Ok after calming down (lol) and starting over with all the diagnostics one step at a time I think its bad ram. I made sure to sync the pair together that matched, started locking up with one pair, so setting that aside I was able to post and running fine with one set. Reset bios, then reran XMP and its now running at 3600MHz in the proper slot. Will head up to MC this week and hopefully they will just let me swap it since it wasnt long ago and it has the MC warranty (maybe an admin could pop in and let me know the swap / exchange timer?)

Hello, well, it does sound like you narrowed it down.

unfortunately before that, hopefully the managers will be cool and let me do an even swap for the same thing. would suck to have me go through the vendor or wait a year to use my replacement plan. ill find out today, hopefully the hour drive doesn't end up in disappointment lol
