After 18 years of sharing my computer with my offspring. This is my Empty Nest Build for the middle aged gaming dad. Not max specs, but a solid build for my new workspace.
-
I already have half the components for this computer, but I'm trying to upgrade the rest so that I'm set for a while! Currently just need the CPU, AIO, Mobo, and case and I'll be set for gaming for a long time :)
-
I would have selected a 30 series gpu if it were available! 🙂
-
This time, I went with something different. Something the average person would be interested in, if they were looking for a physically small system, but without sacrificing RGB or power, while also being able to experiment with overclocking.
-
I went with this build, used a regular build and beefed up the hard drive and memory as well as cooling.

Already have two machines and cases for each but really could use a new CPU for the gaming/work machine. My Ryzen 7 2700x would become my server. And now isn't a good time to upgrade my GTX 1080 but that is also a priority.
-
This is my first time building a PC. It’s always been a dream to have a computer of my own. Fingers crossed I win! 🤞

I've always fawned over those incredibly beautiful builds and always wanted to design one of my own. I love the RGB themes some people have, but I think I'm going to try and use my own to match my room. The power this build has would just be so nice to have as both a gamer and a mechanical engineer.
-
This is my first PC build, I'm a console gamer and am growing tired not being able to upgrade my current setup, I don't much about PCs and I don't know what parts are good so I went with the buy the best and only cry once. I hope you like my build!
-
This is completely unrealistic but why not?
-
Dream build here. I've always wanted a snow themed PC and everything minus the GPU since it only lets me select that one makes the dream build work.
-
This would be my current pick for a no-frills gaming build for premium 1080p, decent 1440p.
-
My Microcenter custom build needs a big brother/sister. Love the Lian Li O11D XL case... handles everything!
-
This would be a nice upgrade while still being a good value PC! Hopefully getting a 3000 series card would be a grade, but any modern GPU would be great, and a 1650 can still do great at 1080p. The 12600kis a great CPU and very close to more expensive options for gaming while having more cores than ryzen at the same price.
-
Curious how cheaply I could rebuild my present computer if it went into self destruct mode.
-
Contemplating upgrading the SSD and power supply.

I love making maps for Black ops games. Just love creating and playing. About to release a update on steam for "Hostile" for black ops III. Don't have 4 yet but soon. Maybe if 5 comes out I'll skip 4 but anyways. Would love a nice pc/laptop to make todays games.

Hi micro people I've been saving up to finally build my very own PC. I've already made a road map for my first steps of becoming a streamer. I would really love it if you micro people could help me with my journey. Here is my build if you have any recommendation I am open to them. 🐸

First PC build here and went for the full white / RGB aesthetic. I wanted something I was proud to show off to friends but still crushed in it the performance category. I made some last-minute edits since I submitted this morning (fan hub stickers arrived) - See post's comments section for final results. If an admin can update the post with final pictures, it would be much appreciated.

I want to make my first PC build from Micro Center, after seeing their great Build-Your-Own selections. I want to have a good performance PC to play with friends. :)
-
I bought my first DIY computer build about 8-10 years ago. I bought most of my computer parts/items from Microcenter back then. I really want to play games with my gaming community/friends but my old computer just doesn't perform well enough to play the newer games/games that they play. Getting a new build will help with my streaming/gaming :)
I would choose a better GPU however the options are limited. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti
The computer build I chose focuses more on the gaming/streaming aspect. If I could choose, I would focus heavily on the GPU since it is limited and slowly build around the GPU. The rest of the computer build was based around compatibility/reviews.
-
I went with a somewhat realistic gaming build (with the exception of the GPU but it’s fun to go wild with at least one component). My current build is all AMD and I think the new Intel CPUs would be fun to mess around with and this would run any game for years.https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=0ff4cd11-3b11-47bd-85de-335b144c2f13

Hey Microcenter!!!! Ardaz here and this is my wish list PC build to start my own Youtube channel on my journey on becoming a CompTia A+ Cert as well my pentest cert. I want to record and document my the process. Using my PC to record / stream/ Video edit the content as well as using it to build out V.M's and having the extra cores/ram to support them would be amazing.
Definitely my end game PC.
-
A sff Mini-ITX build would be really nice for saving space in my dorm, and this pc would be a major upgrade from my 2011 HP clunker.
-
My ultimate overkill white pc build:
-
I don't have a PC but I want to make one someday in the near future! I wanted to see the top specked laptop I could make if money was not an issue. lol, I think I think I can open maybe 2 chrome tabs...
-
I am interested in a new cpu that would support Windows 11 and would provide no compromises, so I went with the 5800x. I chose an appropriate motherboard and fast ram to run with this beast. I like the lineup of Corsair cases so I chose the 4000x RGB. Also threw in a 1tb NVMe ssd for a boot drive. For the GPU i selected the 1650 as a placeholder as it is what is available at this time, although I would ideally go for a 3070 so I could play at 1440, 144hz.
Good luck to everybody :)

I want to build a pc, considering I was luckily able to receive a 3050 queue notification. This PC will probably be for my family, as the current family PC is running a dual core CPU from 5 years ago and takes forever to load. I'm hoping this upgrade will significantly improve the performance of that PC.
-
Tried to build a small pc wit ample cooling could have done far cheaper but but so many parts are just so tempting.
-
Haven't built a new PC in 10 years and looking to take the next step in 1440p.
