Return unopened CPU after 30 days for exchange

Hi,
I bought an Intel I7-13700k cpu before Christmas. Would it possible if I can return the cpu (unopened) back to Micro Center for a store credit since it has been over 30 days? The reason is I wanted to buy a I9-13900k after all so I was wondering if I can get a credit for the i7 cpu and use it to buy the i9 cpu. I will pay the price difference.
Thanks

Likely not, as the return window for processors is 15 days, not 30 days.
