Where can I find a BIOS update for a PowerSpec G436? Everything I've read says not to use MSI's retail BIOS update.

I don't have any updates for that. There shouldn't be any issue using the retail BIOS.

Hello My name is Alex I have a power spec G476 my BIOS is from 9/27/23 Version E7D91IZ1.HM5 I want to update to the newest possible BIOS VERSION for my MSI MPG Z790 EDGE WIFI (MS-7D91) it looks like on MSI site the newest version is 7D91VHH released on 8/29/25 this bios offers a lot of features that have been improved, added, and updated since the 2023 version i have. I have been advised to reach out to see if this BIOS can be updated before proceeding. I Play competitive Games for $$$ so i currently overclock my Gpu from 2500 to 2900+Mhz and Memory from 10500 to 11500MHz to run 500+ FPS on a 1080p 500HZ Monitor when i run bench marks it come back 100% bottleneck on my cpu. My current cpu base speed is 3.20GHz and DDR speed 5600 MHz (with XMP enabled) I want to overclock to get more performance out of my cpu. Before i start overclocking i would like to have an up to date BIOS that’s abled to Achieve 6.0 to 6.5Ghz and run smoothly like the current BIOS that out for the MSI MPG Z790 EDGE WIFI. The main reason to update BIOS is so i can overclock but there are also bugs in the current bios for example the PC natively boots 57 P cores and 44 E cores and in order for the pc to perform moderate task the P cores must be dropped to 56 or even 55 P cores and 44 E cores or the application and or PC crashes (this has happened without overclocking and has since before the pc was ever overclocked like out the box.) i look forward to hearing back i know this is a lot to unpack.

Reason for Request: I am a Linux user and cannot use Windows Update to receive firmware. I need the latest BIOS update containing the Intel 0x12B or 0x12F microcode for 14th Gen CPU stability.

10.03 has the 0x12F microcode which the latest to address that issue.
