Issues with 7900xtx

Hi I recently purchased an open box powercolor hellhound 7900xtx from micro center and im having issues with it, like the gpus hot spot is reaching up to 99 degrees games are crashing from time to time and im not sure how to resolve the issues. I see that micro center has a 90 day return policy and im wondering if I could maybe exchange this card for another 7900xtx or If I should just return the card completly.

Hello @mrZakk! I am very sorry to hear that your video card is not working properly. Are all drivers up to date? For our GPUs there is a 30 day return policy on them. Hey @PaulL yes all of my drivers are up to date I tried some fixes my self and nothing seems to be working as of yet unfourtunatley ive even gone to the point of using DDU to completly wipe my graphics drivers and doing a new install of my graphics drivers and that hasnt seemed to help either. I did some more testing with some games and it looks like I cant play a game for more then 30 minutes without the game blackscreening then crashing. So I guess im going to have to take the card back to microcenter this weekend and return it.

I am sorry to hear that none of the troubleshooting worked out! From what I see here it appears that you were able to make an exchange the other day. If there are any further issues with this new card please let us know so we may further assist!
