PC Display lags/freezes when not gaming

Hi, I've been having this issue with my display ever since I updated my amd radeon rx 7700 xt driver in november where part of the screen stays stuck while some of it updates and I can see the screen move when I scroll or hover over things. The mouse can move over these frozen parts of the screen just fine and I can click on a new tab for example and the unfrozen part of the screen will update as such but the frozen part stays on the last view. This issue occurs on all non game applications like discord, Google, Edge, etc. The screen freeze fixes itself when I click into a different application. Sorry, it is a bit hard to fully describe since I'm not terribly familiar with the terms for these issues.

Recently it has gotten to the point where it'll freeze but then dragging the mouse around the screen will unfreeze a portion of the screen around the mouse, until i click into another application.

Ive already tried replugging in the gpu, deleting and reinstalling it and updating it. I have tried with different monitors, and the problem persists.

Any ideas?

Hello! I am so sorry to hear about the issues that you have been having with your card. To confirm, did you complete a full DDU after upgrading?
