My PC randomly crashes when it comes to games, mainly play DBD
I play a couple of matches of DBD and it sometimes just randomly crashes. I recently also tried Marvel Rivals and it crashes as well but I believe others have the same issue with the game.
My specs
GPU - MSI Gaming Trio RTX 3080 Ti
CPU - i7 13700k
MOBO - ASUS Prime Z790-P Wi-Fi
RAM - G.SKILL 32G DDR5 6000
PSU - Corsair RM850X
AIO - NZXT Kraken 360mm
Fans - 9x Lian Li SL120s and 1 NZXT default fan that came with the case (6 intake and 4 exhaust)
Monitors
AOC 24G2S - 165 Hz
Dell G2725D - 180Hz
Temps - When gaming
GPU - 57-65 F*
CPU - 40-50 F*
Temps - Not gaming
GPU - 36 F*
CPU - 30 F*
Troubleshooting done -
1. All GPU drivers are up to date
2. Windows is up to date
3. RAM is properly seated
4. Did a windows memory diagnostic check - nothing
5. Updated bios
6. Underclocked my GPU using MSI Afterburner
Please let me know if there is anything else I can try, I am bit confused. FYI, the PC has bluescreened before updating the bios. After updating the bios it hasn't bluescreened but the only game that seems to crash after playing for a while Dead By Daylight.

check to see if any of the m.2 drives have firmware updates too

Just checked right now, they're all up to date with the latest updates

Have you already tried clean installing the drivers by chance? If not here is a guide for how:
Is it also only the steam client that you are using? Have you tried using other launchers to see if the crashing occurs across everything? -
I'll try the clean install when I'm home, but so far I've only used steam as the launcher since that's the only way on PC for DBD. I have a feeling it's the game itself because I play league of legends and overwatch2 but no issues occur
-
Yeah just tried right now, did the clean install on win 10 and re-installed using custom installation → clean installation
DBD still crashes mid game -
Sounds like this is more of an issue with the game if that is the case… Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall? You may also want to try using revo uninstaller to ensure that all registry files are removed as well.

Yup tried the reinstall and even reinstalled Steam. I think it's definitely game related at this point but thank you so much for your help!
