I have reserved an item I'm giving as a gift, can the recipient pick up in store?

I've reserved an item as a gift in the Chicago store. As I don't live in chicago, and the recipient does, I want the recipient of the gift to pick it up himself. The requirement to bring a credit card or ID has me stymied: have I paid for it online with my credit card?
Will the payment go through only when it's picked up?
How will the recipient be able to use his ID to pick up my purchase?
Hold buffers are full on the phone line. Can't call and ask.

Greetings. Someone else can pick up your order, as long as they are paying with their own credit card that matches their own identification.  The credit card you put on file is just a $1 hold authorization and does not need to be used to complete the purchase in-store.
