Portable VFX PC Workstation for Virtual Production/VR
Hi All,
I'm rolling into virtual production with motion capture suits and need a portable pc workstation asap! My budget for this build would ideally be under 5k, not including a monitor. Hoping to invest in a Cintiq to work as my monitor, but open to thoughts. I'd like a smaller case for the build to minimize overall bulk for easier mobility. Other than that I need this build to fit the following specs for my motion capture suit, software, and the use of UNREAL ENGINE for virtual production/VR.
The recommended specs I need for this pc build are as follows:
Video Output: HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 or newer
USB PORT: 1x USB 2.0 or newer
***ALSO needs a DeckLink 8K Pro capture card from Black Magic Design
I'm open to suggestions all around. Thanks so much for your help!

Hello!

Here is a build I drafted up using an mATX Case as ITX boards would not be able to fit your additional PCIe capture card. This build has an ElGato Capture Card inside it however that is just a place holder for your current one. I think the Ryzen 9 3900 is the best processor we can go with though you can upgrade to the 3950X for just a bit more power. This build goes to 1,765.90 so there is a lot of room to change for higher end parts, however your original list wasn't asking for super high end parts.
