First Impressions
With its RGB front panel and glass side panels, the Lancool II is a striking case. It offers a somewhat reserved yet bold look. It’s a budget offering that punches above its weight class in several areas. It also has several optional add-ons that you can purchase separately, and we’ll discuss those below. Who is it for?
Touted as “the ultimate chassis for beginners and enthusiasts alike,” Lancool II is a full tower that supports a wide choice of motherboard selections, from ITX to eATX. It also has room enough for water cooling, supporting up to a 360mm radiator in the front of the case or up to 240mm if it’s top-mounted. All that to say, it truly is a case for just about anyone interested in building a PC. With the recent release of the 3000 series GPUs from NVIDIA, we’ve seen some very large GPUs that require quite a lot of space. The Lancool II can support graphics cards up to 384mm in length, which is more than enough room to fit any of the video cards that I’ve seen so far. The largest card that we carry currently is the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090, which is 320.04mm (12.60in.) in length, still within the 384mm limit of the Lancool II.

Premium Looks
The tempered glass side doors give this case a seamless look since there are no visible latches or screws on the side or front of the case; everything looks like it’s sealed tightly from the inside. The magnetic closing mechanisms for all four doors provide a firm hold on each door, allowing for quick toolless entry. However, it does require that you open the bottom door before you can open the glass side panel.

Another great feature of this case is the cover plates can hide all the cables running behind your motherboard to your power supply. Since the doors on both sides of this case are transparent, neatly hiding the wires can be critical, or at the very least, convenient. Another great feature here is the partitioned lower half of the case, which separates the PSU from the rest of the case, offering more ways to hide any messy cables.

Airflow
The Lancool II has two great-looking mesh intakes in the front and two RGB addressable LED strips behind it, providing a stylish look while giving your build fresh air. It also has a ventilation panel at the top of the case that has a mesh cover. Additionally, the side vent just below the glass side panel does allow air intake specifically for your GPU.If you’re interested in a case with different airflow options, we’d recommend the Lancool II Mesh as it offers a honeycomb mesh design at the front and bottom left of the case. -
Modularity
We’ve talked a bit about it already, but the Lancool II offers a wide variety of options for you, based on your needs and how you want to set up your build.
⦁ The removable two-way cable management bar allows you to conceal the motherboard cables. The standard mode (as it’s shipped) allows for motherboards up to eATX. If you’re using an eATX motherboard, you’ll need to flip its orientation.
⦁ The multi-way bracket revolutionizes your notion of fan/radiator installation by offering four installation options to fit your needs best. The Lancool II has several optional modules that can be purchased as well.USB 3.1 (Gen 2 Type-C) Cable- USB Type-C cable made exclusive for the LANCOOL
Vertical GPU Kit- Lancool II-1X Vertical Graphics Card Holder for Lancool II With PCI-E Riser Cable
Hot-swappable Back Plate- This Hot-swappable hard drive backplate for Lancool II allows you to remove and replace the three hard drives in the bottom drive cage without unplugging any cables.
Side Diffused LEDs Strip- Side diffused LEDs strip exclusive for Lancool II. The LED strip fluoresces beautifully from between the flip side panels.
