How does the in store system work? for new GPU
Hello Microcenter, as you may have guessed by my title, I do not know how it work to physically get a card in there, so a little backstory, there isn't a MC near me and a friend of mine is going to dallas, so I was curious if there is any way that I could know it actually works in there. I have heard that they give you ticket but I do not know if that store is getting restocks or if it is everyday?? And like does the ticket mean you have one reserved or does it mean you can buy IF there is any when your turn comes.
My friend will be very few days there so anything to make this easy (at least in the sense that they know what's happening,, I know there are long waits) is appreciated.
Sorry for my bad English.

Hello @Vicbruh and thanks for posting on the Microcenter Community Forum. Below is our Limited Availability link describing the voucher system. GPUs are limited available items with Microcenter.
Your friend will have to show up early to the Dallas store, before it opens to attempt to beat the crowd for a voucher. And that's if GPUs are in stock. Sometimes the store may not have any in stock or they may have 1 or 2 or 5, etc. in stock (ex., Limited Availability).
There's no guarantee your friend will get a card with there being a GPU shortage across the entire computing industry.
Take a look at the FAQ and one of the forum posters shared how they were able to get a card from another MC store.
Good Luck.
