I went with a budget of <2k, trying to keep it small without going ITX as they can get expensive. What this build is made for would be for someone that needs to do some audio/video editing for school work, as well as remote learning if a class needs to go back to online or hybrid. It is also perfect for some light streaming, and of course some gaming when you are procrastinating at that one assignment because reasons, and later ALT-tap and head back to work, just to procrastinate even more and to end up with 4 hours of sleep before your next class that you forgot review the chapter so you just end up reading some bullet points while getting ready and skipping breakfast because your roomate ate all of the hot pockets and you haven't had the time to go to the supermarket down the street. I've included a monitor that is 27' but I would personally get another smaller monitor for looking at messages and pdf files.

Love dreaming of all of the different combinations of PC's out there, have only used PCPARTPICKER until now: thank you so much! This is my back to school PC Build cuz I have a nice sized desk, I chose ATX. I liked the peripherals and the sleeves that Austin had in their build: so I kept those.

i don't have money to really buy stuff so I would love to get a pc min broke 2 years ago

I choose AMD 5800x, and the MSI B550 Tomahawk runs it perfectly. 8 core also helps a lot in Adobe software like Pr, Ps and Ae. You can change to 6 core 5600x to save some budget and lower cooling strength.
To cooling the cpu, I choose MSI MAG 360mm AIO, because I have MSI motherboard so I can control it in MSI dragon center.
Herewith MSI 3060ti, a nice card for entry-level 2k gaming, runs about 140fps in Apex with 2k high quality setting, you can also upgrade to 3070 for more performance. Also give Adobe Cuda acceleration which AMD graphics does not have. If you are gaming only, the AMD 6700xt will be a good choice.
I chose 16g 3600c18 dual channel ram Gskill Trident Z Neo, which is optimization for AMD, and 16g runs almost all the game and Adobe standard configuration. Upgrade to 32g will be better for editing 4k video.
500g WD sn750 for system drive and 1t WD sn 550 for high-frequency playing game and video editing drive, also with 2t Seagate HDD for Storage. Upgrade to 1t Samsung 980 or 980 pro for better performance and high speed, you can change the HDD to SATA ssd also.
I personally like the Lianli product, so I select the Lianli Lancool 2 mesh, which gives better airflow and awesome RGB case fans. But you might clean the dust 1-2 times a year.
Finally the power supply, I would like to spend a little more budget for a better one, So I choose the 750w 80+ gold, although 5800x+3060ti doesn't need that much but you don't have to change psu when you upgrade the cpu and gpu latter.
---------------------------
I bought all white peripherals.
Logitech G915 tkl, G pro mouse and G733 headset, and they are all wireless but their delay is as low as wired.
Because this pc is for 2k gaming and editing, I have Asus vg27aq with 2k 165hz and HDR, IPS panel has low response time for gaming and very good color accuracy which is important for Pr and Ps.

I would really like to get this gaming pc. currently I have a Lenovo flex 5 and can barely run games low at 60 fps. i want to go into computer science as my career but I just don't have a good enough computer to do so. All of my friends at school play really fun games but i cant run them, for example overwatch and apex legends. This pc would mean a lot to me and would make my whole year and onward amazing. I appreciate the opportunity to do this.
I want a sleek black and white build to blend in with my desk environment that can handle not just the most demanding gameplay, but a heavy 3d rendering load for doing CAD and other 3d design work. Intel is a must for Thunderbolt drives that I already own. I want something with the horsepower for many years to come so I don't have to replace my system in another 3-5 years like a chump. Spend a little more now so I spend much less later.

I want a PC because I never had the luxury of being able to have my own before when I was growing up and even now because my parents always thought it was a waste for me to have a PC to myself. I mainly want to use it for storing all of my online assignments in one place and playing my favorite video games with my friends during the weekends or when I'm free without having to worry about my PC lagging or crashing completely.

Hello! Hope everyone's having a good day! I do a lot of video production and editing type of things while also playing a lot of game titles that require a high-performance PC. Whether if I'm rendering animations and motion graphics on Adobe After Effects or playing Rainbow 6 Siege and Modern Warfare, I think my build design is rather versatile and will last a long time. Although it's rather pricey for the average student (High school age or college), I think it's worth the investment!
i just wanted to give my friend a pc since he doesn't know much about them but he wants to do some light gaming with the ability to do work and school

Powered by a Ryzen 7 3700x, B550 MOBO, 16GBs-3600MHz ram, a 12GB EVGA RTX 3060, powered by a 750GT from EVGA, all housed in a Lian Li Lancool II with great airflow. Would be great for a student (with a little cash) going back to school. The 24" monitor will fit on a small desk while delivering 144Hz @ 1080p.
