Hello I'm building my first pc (yeah I'm a newbie) with just the essentials, I will mostly be using it to learn Photoshop & Use Photoshop and try making music but I also plan to use it for school and gaming as well, and learning life skill such as foreign languages and writing books, (which you can admittedly do on anything, and take some courses and get me a bunch of certificates for my futures (such as Google's program) I already have most the parts but missing a GPU and CPU fan cooler and some fans. I just wanna change my life for the better starting with this pc.

I would like to build this desktop because I think that I would help me with my building, coding, design projects. I think it would also be able to do school work on it. I would also be able to update it if I needed to do a project that needs a bigger graphics card. I would also like to try out Microsoft flight 2020.https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=eac8eb5a-5918-4f53-942d-c1acd9c24757

This is my work/gaming build, I wanted to go with something that would be good for CAD modeling and gaming with ray tracing. For the keyboard I would either get the one listed or make a custom one.

After about a year of research, I am finally ready to build my first gaming PC! I am hoping to use this build for many years to come and have chosen parts that do just that. Instead of going and building a completely overkill build or a completely cheap build, I went with the most bang for the buck build that is currently possible. I plan on using this PC to play games with my friends as well as steam. Thank you guys for this amazing opportunity, I look forward to seeing you guys soon!

I wanted to build a very powerful PC that could do everything I needed it to do. The AMD Ryzen 7 line is very good can do everything I need it to do. The MSI - B450 is a great motherboard for the price that I was paying. The ram that I chose(Crucial Ballistix Gaming RGB 16GB) is all that is necessary for what I will be doing. The case I chose is a Full Tower tempered class case. The power supply is a 750 watt power supply which is very good for what I need. The video card/graphics card is a MSI RX 6800 GAMING X TRIO Overclocked Triple-Fan with 16 GB. For the SSD I chose a inland Platinum 2TB SSD NVME PCLE Gen 3.0x4 M.2 2280 3D NAND Internal. The hard drive is a Seagate BarraCuda 2TB drive. For cooling I chose a water cooling kit. And for the operating system I chose Windows 10 Home 64-bit. Lastly, I am getting a Lian Li case fan with a controller. To conclude, the 500 dollars would really help me get this PC for my kid.

I’m trying to build my first pc but the prices are way to high right now, I’m waiting for prices to drop. Right now and for the past 2 years I’ve been playing on a trash laptop with Geforce Now, I don’t expect to win but if I did that would be the best thing that has happened to me, I like playing RP games but my laptop can’t run GTA 5 lol it’s super trash.

I would use this pc for school with 4k/8k video editing, streaming, gaming and coding, I have an rx 550 right now and an intel core i5 9600k. Honestly it's a good pc but I need to get an upgrade soon. This would be the pc I would build if I had this much to buy it.

I believe that this build would be perfect for my needs. It has plenty of processing power, ram, and Video memory for my school work such as 3D modeling, Programming, and video/photo editing. It's also perfect for gaming in my free time.

Just want the most expensive thing of all time. Jeez that case is insane. -
Hi. This build would be my first ever and would serve as a huge upgrade to the gtx 1050 laptop that I've been using for 5 years now. I am entering my senior year of college and I've been working to save up to build a PC this summer. Something like a $500 gift card would help tremendously with affording the parts and would save me money to cover college expenses.
Main Parts:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x - A great price-to-performance GPU that offers performance in games and could allow me to do a little streaming.
RAM: Crucial Ballistics 16 GB (8 x 2) 3600 - It's low latency 3600 RAM at a great price, and all I really need is 16 gigs.
GPU: EVGA RTX 3060 ti - Great midpoint GPU that would allow me to run the games I want to play at 1080p, 144 fps without breaking the bank (If I can get my hands on one).
Storage: WD Blue 1 TB M.2 NVME SSD - 1 TB should be enough space for my school documents and games.
Thank you for the consideration, and good luck, everyone!!

This is a build that will get the job done. Can play any competitive and popular title easily for the next 5-7 years. Has a nice case to impress your friends with the RGB. Powerful. Efficient. Perfect.

Need a solid computer for working and gaming on the downtime. I do Programming and want to do more animation, but my computer now is too slow for animation. So this computer would be very helpful with learning and excelling in the field I am interested in since it requires a good computer. I believe this $500 gift card will help me get to the goal of building a good enough computer for this. Thank you!

I want to help my friend build his pc for video editing and blender.
-
I would build this PC because it would be powerful enough to play most games, and not cost too much. This way I don't have to use my family's laptop when they might want to use it. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=359472bd-6838-4d54-ad91-acbcf3f2198b

Currently a highschool student, really into gaming. Already have a pretty decent pc ( 1660 super, ryzen 5 3600 ). I've always upgraded it and tried to build up to a better pc so I can run Forza Horizon 4 at max graphics so I can feel like I am outside but in reality I am sitting in my room playing a car game. Everything I put in the build is my current set up, besides the graphics card. A better graphics card would make my pc a goat. I can maybe get a new case too. Most likely won't get a new cpu for a while atleast. If I win this 500$ I'm going to use it to expand my pc and of course do my school. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=a43669de-9ffc-413c-8edd-0ece425bc6db

This is my dream gaming/school overkill PC build I have always wanted a white themed pc build but could never afford one and you can tell by the price.
-
I have never owned a gaming PC but it has been my dream to have one and build it myself. I have tried saving for it but different circumstances have made it difficult for me to buy one. I hope to win the competition so I might finally win a PC. The parts I have chosen are the best value to performance without skipping on parts which need to high quality and of course RGB as it increases FPS ; )

I need a computer that can fit my coding classes needs and also my internship, work from home needs. Since I need to pay for school, it's hard to pay for a good computer that fits my needs and aesthetic. This build would be my dream build. I chose the AMD Ryzen 5 5600x because it is one of the best CPUs for it's price. Along with a 3060, which is not new, but it has great graphics for work and school.

My brother currently has a old macbook and I would like to help him get his first pc and he didnt want something too expensive or something too cheap so I made a list and then found this giveaway and I thought maybe if I win I can surprise him with a new gaming pc without paying the full price for a birthday gift:)

I am entering my first year of college and would love a home PC that can help me with my studies and play games on my free time. Would be awesome if I won.

I'm currently in need of an upgrade to my current setup (9 years old). I'm hoping it will be my main workstation for my startup business, video editing, and for when I re-enter school this upcoming September.

All of my friends are talking about their pcs and how much fun it is to play games on it, but i currently do not have a pc and I wish for my pc to be able to play many games and run smoothly and quickly. Also I want to be able to use this pc for a few years and make upgrades on the way. Hopefully I win but good luck to everyone else!
-
I want to build something that will be able to run games at 144 FPS+ at 1080p for a couple years.
-
I have never build my own pc before, because of the financial part of it. So this could be the best chance I have at building one

My parents currently use a 12 year old PC, monitor, and keyboard and mouse. They cannot do anything on the pc except look at the pictures from the hard drive. they need something fast and reliable to do work on such as conference calls. An upgrade would be very helpful for them but they just don't want to have to worry about spending that kind of money right now. The list is here: https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=bdebee4a-30f4-4b6e-a987-6610c70ee71a
My mom also works as a college dental hygiene instructor and that is why I am posting this for back to school! 😊
