Build a Computer With Our New PC Builder - Powered By ASUS and WIN!

This is my first build on the site. I think it represents a good compromise between quality components, performance, and value for a higher end system.
-
I think this would be a good system for high performance computing (modeling, machine learning, GIS, etc.)

This is pretty close to what I actually BUILT last year. I used the White HELIOS case, used the ROG Ryujin 360 AIO water cooler, a 1200W Asus Thor Power Supply, and the Hard Drive is a WD DataStar DC Helium 12GB......
And I had to order the ROG Strix 3090 from another place that actually had them at the time.....and for just a smidge above MSRP.
It would be better if we could adjust things a little more.....I had wanted to do an "all Asus build", though that's simply not completely possible. But I got as close as I reasonably could. And why does the barebones use a Ryujin 240 in a Helios case????? The 360 is a much better fit for either top or front mounting it.

Just need a a great high performance computer for internet browsing, messaging, gaming and watching movies.

A simple, affordable and reliable build, need I say more. I may be super rich but entering in contests online is a lovely way to spend my time while I'm sitting on the beach behind one of my many mansions.

Couldn't figure out how to change GPU/case/mobo/PSU/cooler - but this is the rest. I would do a powerhouse SFF PC with NO RGB. Thinking watercooled 5900x in an ITX case with an air cooled 3080.

I did my first "raw" build from scratch back in 2018 with everything from MicroCenter. This is a serious upgrade from my first effort, which will not upgrade to Windows 11, because the i7 processor is just a 6700 - not quite enough for Microsoft. Let's see what happens with this - maybe a new build in my future???

Havent been able to game with my brother in several years, and this would definitely help! Also, I suppose, my wife could use the computer while for her law school work. maybe.

Just want to make a pc to help with my gaming experience. I really love this!

Trying to convince my family to switch from consoles to PC gaming and this build might just do that.

I haven't had a new computer in almost 20 years. I want to be able to game more with my husband

I gotta say this ASUS program is super helpful for anyone building their own computer or even researching components and features they are looking for. It takes the fear of the unknown out of researching, provides you with the basics, so you can enter MicroCenter with a plan and ask questions from there. Listings of essential components, clear list of options at each level, drop down specs for each part, immediate pricing totals. . .all are fantastic features.
I wanted a desperately needed high performance system with the ability to upgrade as needed, all for around $2,500. I ended up $80 over, but I, maybe with sales and rebate offers and such, I can get that down a little. I went with the best processor possible, and decent memory and SSD hd. I'll use a 5T 7200rpm HD I have at home and my current Win 10 operating system. This way I start with the solid basics and have room to grow. Now I just need to will this system (or an even better one) into my hands. :)

It's got all the bells and whistles I'm looking for. I'd love to have it! :)

This would be a refresh for my current x99 build that I've been running for over 5yrs now.
My choices running the Normal MC builder, still running Asus gear:
