GSkillz Ripjaws not supported by Strix Mobo

Hi there,

I recently purchased G Skillz Ripjaws V (skew 010496) along with an Asus Strix B550 Mobo from Microcenter in Tustin. I have been having issues running them at 3600 MHz with this motherboard and my Ryzen 5800x. I just went to the Asus website and it is not listed as a supported Ram. I have read (after the fact). that G skillz doesn't play nice with Asus, so I did some research and found this out after the fact. I was helped by one of the employees on this as well and picked out every major components for my build (except the GPU).

My question is this. Since this is not a supported Ram, and I cant seem to get it to 3600 (even with D.O.C.P) without issues, can I return it? I just built the system this week and finally got to install it. I purchased on 8-26-21, and my computer has only been completely functional since Monday this week.

Any suggestions? can I bring it back and exchange for something that is compatible?
