I created this account just to add myself to the list! I am in Utah and think it is basically prime real-estate for a computer store like MicroCenter.
We have a very tech savvy population and Provo is the Silicon Slopes and is sometimes even called Silicon Valley 2. There are thousands of high tech companies that have started just in the past decade or two.
We have almost no retail outlets with more than a very small selection of computer components. We used to have CompUSA and a locally owned and operated business called EBC Computers, which has since closed. I frequented both places and they were always full of people.
I work in IT and I can't count the number of times I've needed a component quickly but have nowhere to turn to except online.

Hello! Another potential customer here in Utah.
Previously lived in both Houston and Orange County and frequently shopped at the MicroCenters there. There is nothing close here in Utah. With the influx of remote workers in tech and the local startups as part of Silicon Slopes, I think a MicroCenter would do great here.

Just signed up for this as well. Microcenter would be a godsend out here. There are no quality technology stores out here, and to get any kind of 3d filament you have to go online as well. I would be so happy to see one out here in Lehi, or SLC just being able to go grab something rather than ordering it online would be amazing.
Hopefully you can see there is a high demand out here for a Microcenter.

ian i have made an account to continue to annoy you with slc microcenter pleads. i am suffering ian. you must help me. best buy only has one model of m.2 ssd in the 500-1tb range in stock at any of the stores here and its expensive. i am on the verge of tears due to this lack of microcenter.

Hey I have gone to a few micro centers and all of them were like Disneyland to me It is like PC, computer, electronics heaven and just the thought of having one, not 7-10 FREAKING hours away makes me feel awesome that I might just have to only drive up to 30 minutes

I am also a real YouTuber not one of the biggest but still and I don't have a PC yet but if you make this micro center a thing here in slc I will and WILL go to it and make a special video about me making a PC there and maybe you could even sponsor me because I would do anything for you guys serious you guys are like my King whom we praise to PC heavens.

This guy or person is totally right and this m.2 thing is true as I have made many visits to best buy because of the lack of micro center I mean this whole community as a whole has asked so many times and given so many great reasons as two why. So let me just clear something if micro center does not move to utah next we will all be in tears and that would not be one of the best decisions either because of the rising community in utah is faster than any other state and just checked there is no location within 7 hours or less from slc and that is just crazy so for anybody working at this place with a high enough job please make all our lives better in the tech side of our worlds and let the heavens sing hallaua for a micro center has risen from the dust in utah.
And do not build one anywhere else because maybe that place has whiny group like us too but no kidding they don't deserve it they have very close too like cali especially I belive they Have 2!!! And UT oh wait none!

Engineer here! In my neighborhood alone there are 30+ engineers, and 20-30 tech related neighbors. The engineering community is massive in Utah! I wholeheartedly support the opening of a micro center in Utah! We need a good computer and tech store! You will have a monopolistic market in SLC or Ogden! There are soooo many engineering firms here, and techie individuals. Micro center would be a massive support to our community, and in return micro center will undoubtably see substantial income and a strong following! Please come to Utah!!!

You do have a say. It's your own inhibitions that would prevent you from having a say. Speak up for a community.
I agree with everyone else here, Utah is a massive tech hub full of very skilled IT folk, engineers, and people who would love to have an alternative to Best Buy. Guaranteed you'd have my business, and many, many thousands of other customers.
Draper, UT, as stated above, is a perfect location for Micro Center. It hit's the tech hubs of Salt Lake and Utah County. Concentrated population of nerdy folk who want to do business locally instead of having to do everything online.

What would it take to build an MC here in Utah? Do you need market data? a location? a franchise owner? good timing? We're crazy enough fans to try to make something happen!

Wanted to add my vote for a Micro Center in Utah as well. There is certainly a ton of demand for it.
If you open one within 2 hours of Salt Lake City I'll be there waiting in-line on grand opening. 😇

YES PLEASE I WILL SPEND SO MUCH OF MY MONEY AND MY COMPANY'S MONEY AT MICROCENTER! If you opened one in South Salt Lake County you could get all of the SLC folks but also all of the tech companies around Adobe in the Silicone Slopes area!!
ps I also made my account solely for the purpose of voicing my desperate support for this.
