Where to buy powerspec PS 750BSM modular SATA cables?

I've got the same PSU as the picture above I got in a Powerspec G467 I bought. I just got a new SSD and was pulling my hair out because I couldn't reach from the drive bays to the SSD slots with the one cable that it came with. I thought I could get one from my old pc as it fit just fine but just fried my new SSD because MicroCenter didn't include all the cables that come with the PSU. 🙃

@JS_MC @TSPhillipT @TSTonyV Are any of you able to help me? The cable I need is SATA power for the PS 750BSM.
-
Any cables that are available with the PC would be zip-tied up near the power supply inside the PC. The cables are not sold separately and you can't mix and match cables between supplies. SATA cables between hard drive and motherboard would need to be purchased separately, sometimes PowerSpec PCs do include an extra SATA cable or two in the box.
-
Well mine did not. You said the cables are not sold separately so how am I supposed to to get the cable to add storage to the PC?
-
Greetings, this was a recent purchase directly from a Micro Center store?
-
Thanks for the response, I purchased the PC in June 2021 at the Microcenter store. Obviously with PC's though you can upgrade them over time which is why I never knew I needed cables until now.
-
Any extra cabling included would have been in a pre-built PC would be in the original packaging in a clear bag, or attached to the power supply ziptied in the case.
-
I understand but what am I to do if the cables weren't included and they aren't sold separately? I saw several other customers were able to receive help from Microcenter that had this same issue in this thread. Am I unable to receive the same help given to them?

In the event that you are missing cables for PowerSpec PSUs and you need a spare set, we can reach out on an individual basis and work to provide sets as long as we still have the means to source them. In your particular case, I'll send an email for your shipping info and we will get that squared away.
For anyone else that stumbles on this thread, we will do our best to provide cables as long as we have them. As @Ian was eluding to earlier in this thread, it is not uncommon to find our spare PSU cables in the accessory kits of your PowerSpec system, or tied tightly to the front of the PSU behind the motherboard tray. In situations where they are still missing, let us know.
On the subject of carrying spare PSU cable kits in-store, I think this is a great idea, however there are some logistical challenges we have to overcome before we can start doing this. First and foremost, we need to work on making it very clear which cable kits are compatible with which PSUs. Right now, it is not uncommon to source internal PSU components from multiple manufacturers. This means that the PowerSpec 850GFM might have an entirely different cable pinout from the PowerSpec 750GFM, despite sharing a very similar naming convention and being part of the same "Gold Fully Modular" series.
I might make a separate thread on this subject as I would be interested to see the demand on custom sleeved cable kits for our PSUs. Maybe even have them in different colors. Either way, once we have an update on this, we will let everyone know with an announcement. Until then, continue reaching out and we will support as best we can.

I am one of these such people who needs spare power cables, albeit for the 650GFM. Specifically, I only need the PSU <-> CPU cable. I've tried calling micro centers and trawling through Powerspec website for replacement orders, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
-
Let me see what I can find. I'll make a trip to our distribution center, though it will likely be a full cable kit as we do not carry the cables individually. Once I have confirmation on the kit itself, I'll reach out privately for shipping details.

Im in the same boat...

I too am in missing a sata cable for my ps650bsm-w.. I made my first trip to Microcenter yesterday while I was in Atlanta. We don't have any near me.. And when I got home I opened the pack, it only had the 1x sata connector which has 3 sata plugs.. I'm now over 6hrs away and can't go back to the store.
-
I sent you a private message on this. Please respond to it when you get the chance.

I have a PowerSpec 750BSM, and I need SATA III cables as I'm adding an SSD to my computer. I bought the PSU directly from my local Microcenter store. Unfortunately I have since moved and my nearest Microcenter is now several hours away
-
I sent a message over to see about getting a replacements, I don't have any spares from our old samples to give you. I assume you need both SATA power cables?
We have some. I sent you an email to confirm the purchase and your information so that we can mail them out.
-
That is great news! Thank you @PowerSpec_MikeW - I would like both both SATA cables please.
-
I have reach out to my local microcenter and did not receive any help for a solution, as well sent emails with no response. I have a PS750BSM in my prebuilt and it came with no extra cables. I need a sata cable so I can add storage. It has been over a year, I have not received any help or solutions to this issue. I have no problem paying for a cord if needed, but nobody can tell me which one I need, or where to buy it. :(
-
I'll work on getting some SATA cables this week and let you know.

I have been looking for a SATA power cable for my PowerSpec 650SM and I have used up all the connectors with my new CPU cool and now I have no cable for my hard drive. I don't want to buy a cable that could mess up my computer. Could anyone please help me.

I recently purchased a second hand computer with a PowerSpec PSU to replace one flooded in hurricane Helene and wanted to add my old hard drive but it has no spare power SATA connectors. I do not live in an area with a store nearby and can really use them to get old data off. Could anyone help please.
-
