Can I get the lates Bios image for Powerspec G529 with Asus B840M MAX GAMING AX Motherboard.

I've a G759 that I updated last year around the time I purchased it to version 3.50. I just downloaded version 4.03 and flashed it (no errors) but system info and the BIOS menu still says it's under version 3.50. Any insight? Thank you in advance.
-
I'd try it again. It should reboot then start the flashing process.
-
Doesn't work with me also.
-
I've tried 10x and it never completes the bios update without any error messages. Still stuck on 3.5 with g759. Did you try this bios update yourself? I noticed that the person who put up the 4.03 bios was not a microcenter tech.

Did you ever get it to update to 4.03? It never worked for me. Still stuck on 3.5 for G759

Just came across this from MSI. I can't post links yet
MSI Rolls Out BIOS Version 7E51v1A81 for MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi to Fix PCIe GPU Throttling
-
No I am unable to get it to flash. I tried it 3 times just to make sure and it just reboots back to login/desktop. If it's on their PowerSpec website (where I got it from), rest assure it's real.
-
I tried 10x and failed using the bios update in the bios settings. There is s way to install the 4.03 bios by plugging the USB drive into the back usb port with the box surrounding it and renaming the name of the bios to creative.rom ( lower case) on your usb drive. Then you have to push the button on the back of the case to flash the bios by holding it down for 4 seconds. It takes about 10 minutes or less to finish the bios update and it works.
-
I got it to flash with your suggestion. Don't forget to set your DRAM back to 6000. Cheers.

Any update on a new bios for the G757 with the Gigabyte B850 Gaming Wifi mobo? Or should I just q flash it to the gigabyte bios?
-
That's the first thing I did was to overclock ram to 6000 after the bios update. Did you see any indicator light next to the button on the back? I never did. Maybe it was too bright in my room.

Can I get the latest bios for g757 with Gigabyte B850, Im on f7 currently and confirmed the Gigabyte bios fails to update.
-
Hello, I'd also like to request a current bios update for the G757. Havent seen a response on this particular request across the forums yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

F10 for the G757.

Getting an invalid BIOS image error. The process works as normal, my machine reboots, but during the validation process I receive an error and my BIOS version reverts to F7. Help?
-
Sounds like a corrupt file. I'd download it again and flash from a FAT32 drive. I uploaded the BIOS here:
-
Unfortunately same scenario, did a full format of a different USB drive to fat32, grabbed the file from the download section on the page you linked, its the only file on the drive. I launch into q-flash, the process seems to complete and I'm told "ready to reboot", the machine reboots and goes back into the q-flash menu and at 97% on the following screen I receive an error.

Hello, I need to update my BIOS because the version I am on does not work well with my CPU and GPU. I am on a Gigabyte B850 GAMING WIFI6 motherboard with the current version installed, being F7 GA2. The new F11b version has better compatibility with hardware.
However, downloading and trying to Q-Flash the new BIOS does not work because I get an 'OEMID mismatch' error. How can I fix this?
Edit: I have the PowerSpec G729 computer.
-
Try the Gigabyte F10 BIOS using the Q-Flash Plus feature.
Our latest is F10. If you want to use the Gigabyte BIOS you can flash with the Q-Flash Plus feature outlined in the manual.
-
@PowerSpec_MikeW where can I find the F10 bios from Powerspec? I looked at the G729 downloads page on micro center and the latest I could find there was F7.
-
I used the F11b bios but that worked. How come? I noticed the bios splash is now the Gigabyte branding. Weird?
Thanks either way Mike! -
-
That's normal on the Gigabyte BIOS. They insist on locking the BIOS for OEM's like us, so that's the only way to flash back to the Gigabyte BIOS.
-
@PowerSpec_MikeW I tried using the F10 version like you said but I get “Invalid BIOS image” error.
-
You would need to use Q-Flash Plus. Rename the BIOS to Gigabyte.bin. Make sure the drive is FAT32. Turn the PC off, plug it into the port labeled BIOS and press the Q-Flash button. Give it 3-5 minutes.

Hi, I am looking for the latest PowerSpec-validated BIOS for my G513, My current motherboard is the b550m-c running BIOS version P1.40 and ive had that update since 2022.
-
Any news on BIOS update for G913? MSI recently issued BIOS update to address the PCI throttling issue that I encounter fairly frequently.
