PowerSpec General Questions

That's fine for now. Leave that on auto.

Do you have an approximate timeframe when there will be a refresh on the Powerspec prebuilts using the 5060Ti? I ask because I'm really on the fence in terms of purchasing the G447 (with the 4070), but I don't want to buy it and see newer prebuilts come right after I purchase it. I rather be patient if the product refresh is coming soon. Thank you.

I have a 7800XT. Everything works fine except whenever i play game for 5-10 minutes, I've got black screen issues. So the screen is black but I can still hear the game's sound and the fan is running like 100%. I have tried the DDU, updated the BIOS but it doesn't work out. Can anyone here please help? It's so frustrating

I can't share anything, but we've had launch day models available for all the 5000 series launches so far.

Still no luck

What are the debug LEDs on the board doing when it gets stuck coming out of sleep?
-
The store pages for PowerSpec PCs state that they can have upgrade components purchased at the same time installed for free. Does that include components like the case or motherboard? And either way, where could I find the fine print on that to see exactly what the restrictions or limitations are?
-
I would speak to the store for that, but generally it's meant for upgrades. Additional drives, RAM, cooler upgrades, additional fans. Swapping the case is quite a bit of work. As for the board, we inject the key into the board.
-
debug LEDs seems to be the same as every time it boots up from sleep. Red CPU light blinks once.
-
So they do go out? Sounds like it does POST. Next time it does this. Try to toggle your caps lock key and see if the light responds. Or spam the sift key 20 times and listen for a sticky keys sound.
-
So they all 4 lights stay off except the cpu one blinks red once. Seems to do the same whether it comes out of sleep mode successfully or not.
-
How about the caps lock led on your keyboard? Can you toggle it?
-
forgot to try the caps lock this most recent time but sticky keys would not make a sound
-
okay yeah neither shift or caps lock did anything. I've also noticed that it is far more likely to fail to boot up if i had a program or two open. Is this potentially a faulty component somewhere?
-
It's possible, but it just sounds like a cold boot issue. Can you disable fast startup and see if it still happens? Shouldn't factor into sleep, but I'd like to test.
-
same results
-
There's a setting in the BIOS called IGP Multi-Monitor Mode. Please enable it, then F10 to save and exit. If it happens again, try to swap the HDMI/DP to the IGP and see if there's video output.

-
@PowerSpec_MikeW same result with IGP monitor mode enabled. When plugged in to integrated graphics nothing showed on screen
-
It's a no POST then. Bring it in for service, we'll figure out what's going on. There's an underlying hardware issue, but there are several possibilities.
-
@PowerSpec_MikeW I appreciate your help so far. Should I reference you when I take it in?
-
Sure, they can contact me if they're confused about what's going on. Actually try one more thing. There's a setting in the BIOS called Memory Context Restore. Is it enabled, disabled or auto?
-
My friend and I are having the same issue with a Powerspec G719, the computer will run fine and then at a random interval, could be hours or minutes, the monitors go black and the fans start spinning at 100%. We have to hard reset with the power button and 9/10 times it forces us to reinstall our drivers as well. Does anyone know what is going on here and how it can be fixed?
-
Which driver do you need to reinstall specifically and why? Are devices showing a bang in device manager after this happens?
-
@PowerSpec_MikeW We have to reinstall Adrenalin afterwards, it literally just happened again to me minutes before posting this during FF7 Rebirth. It did not take my drivers out this time. I have not thought to check device manager after it happens though, I will see about it next time it takes the drivers out. No bangs right now.
-
See if there's a bang on the graphics card. Also check event viewers, administrative events and see what's happening right before the screen goes black.

Just purchased the PowerSpec B943. I have 3 basic questions.
There is no sound input or output.Am assuming no speakers included. I have Logitech speakers from previous machine. Have searched far and wide for diagram of TOP of PC to determine which port to use or doesn't it matter?
I also have a good USB microphone that shouldn't be a problem? We'll see.
It would be nice to have a diagram of top of machine. I don't understand the 1 button> C / M?
Would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks so much.

There is no built in speaker or microphone. You will need to connect external speakers. The top ports are setup as a headset and mic jack. Though the Realtek software has soft ports, so you can plug it in and then tell the system what that device is.
USB won't be a problem. It is it's on USB audio device, it has nothing to do with the audio controller.
It's an alternative control for the RGB. Better to keep it synced and use the armory crate software. But it's M 'Mode' and C 'Color'. Guide: https://community.microcenter.com/discussion/14123/powerspec-atx-205-chassis#latest
