How to get a 16yo started building own PC?

My 16yr old daughter is interested in building her own PC. 
We'd like to give her a gift to get started - one for xmas that could be under the tree. But, it seems, the more I read, the more that this is such an individualized process.  Should we just get her a gift certificate? Are there starter kits? She loves minecraft and that is what she'd use it for primarily.

Greetings. There aren't really any kits, now we do have a Build Your Own section in store where you can work with a sales person in store to help pick out all the parts needed. We also have some helpful guides here on our community forum for building as well:
