Docking Station not sending/receiving video?
Hello, I recently purchased a Inland 11-in-1 Triple Display Dock and I'm having a strange problem.
I am trying to create a setup where I can use two external monitors with my laptop to the side with its lid closed.
I've plugged in the docking station into the USB-C port located on the back of my laptop, and plugged in several things into the docking station. Interestingly, I can type using a plugged-in external keyboard, and use an external mouse just fine, but the two monitors I have aren't receiving anything. One monitor is plugged in using a HDMI cable, and the other using a VGA cable. However none of these external monitors are being detected by Windows. There isn't the usual boxes with 1 & 2 or 3 to show the displays. As far as my laptop is concerned, the only screen available is its own laptop screen.
I have tested my monitors by plugging them into my only HDMI port on my laptop, and both monitors are able to mirror/extend my screen just fine. It's only when I plug those monitors into my docking station, that nothing occurs, and my laptop doesn't detect them, even when I try to manually detect them. I've checked, and all my drivers seem to be up to date. I'm at a complete loss.
My laptop is a pre-built Cyberpower Tracer III. If anything needs further clarification, please ask away!

Greetings, if you go in to Display Settings and press Detect when plugged in through the docking station, is it giving an error such as "Can't detect any other displays"?
-
Yes, when I click 'Detect' I receive "Didn't detect another display."
-
Does the docking station display anything on the monitors when you try just one monitor at a time with the docking station? If you have the display settings window open on your PC while connecting, does a monitor happen to appear there and then disappear?
-
Nope, not a thing. I have watched the display settings when I plug in the docking station and nothing appears. I have even tried it by turning the monitors off and on again and the display settings do not register anything.

If this does not appear to be working with multiple displays and cords, I would assume there is something wrong with the docking station at this time. If it has been purchased within the last 30 days, it may returned/exchanged to your local Micro Center store.

Yes, I feared that I came to the same conclusion. But thank you for your help!

You're welcome, have a great rest of your day!

I purchased this dock in April , and finally got around to hooking everything up today, only to find out I have the identical same issue. Windows 11 Laptop sees everything connected to the dock EXCEPT the displays. DP, HDMI and VGA all do not show up on window 11. Any assistance would be helpful.
