Today’s build is all about getting the maximum performance build for 1440p gaming and we’re going all out. By building with some of the best products on the market, you'll end up with an absolutely killer build with some nice aesthetics to match. So, let’s dive right in.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7800X3D

AMD’s newest processor on the market was well worth the wait. With its 8 cores, 16 threads, and 5.0GHz boost clock, this processor is currently dominating the gaming CPU market thanks to its 3D V-Cache technology and its price point. The 7800X3D supports PCIe 5.0, giving you the latest in graphics card and SSD performance. Want more info? We've got a breakdown over here.

Cooler: ASUS ROG Ryujin II 360 ARGB All-in-One Liquid CPU Cooler

We’re keeping a close eye on our temps to make sure we’re getting out maximum performance (you don't want thermal throttling limiting your frames!), and the best way to do that is with the ASUS ROG Ryujin II 360mm ARGB all-in-one liquid cooler. Using Asetek’s 7th generation pump to give us exceptional cooling with minimal noise, this cooler provides a 3.5” display for our quick monitoring needs.

Motherboard: ASUS X670E-PLUS TUF GAMING WIFI

Built with military-grade components, the ASUS X670E-Plus TUF Gaming motherboard is made to last for those lengthy gaming sessions. This motherboard also supports up to PCIe 5.0 graphics cards and solid-state drives, giving you some of the fastest gaming possible and future-proofing you for years to come.

Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-5600

Maxed-out performance is our main goal to get the best 1440p gaming, so we’re going with Corsair’s AMD EXPO Vengeance RGB ram running at 5600MHz. This 32GB kit of ram includes 10 zones of RGB lighting and customizable EXPO profiles that can all be controlled via Corsair iCue software,

GPU: ASUS AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX TUF Gaming Overclocked Triple Fan 24GB

Our star of the show, the ASUS TUF AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX is a monster at gaming, giving us high frame rates and beautiful visuals. Just like our motherboard, it has military-grade components to give us a durable card for those intense gaming sessions. Check out our benchmarks for all the stats!

SSD: WD Black SN850X 4TB 3D TLC NAND PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 Internal SSD

Massive gaming requires massive storage, right? The WD Black SN850X SSD has 4TB of storage and insane read speeds up to 7300MB/s, making this SSD almost unparalleled in both speed and capacity.

Case Fans: ASUS TUF Gaming TF120 ARGB Chassis Fan

To make sure our build runs super cool, we’re adding a few more fans to make sure our setup keeps a low temperature. They're also ARGB to give you a bit more customization in the overall color of your build,

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 GT 80+ Gold 1000W Fully Modular Power Supply

Powerhouse PCs need plenty of power, so EVGA’s SuperNOVA 1000 GT is a logical choice in making our PC the power it needs to run. This power supply is also fully modular, making cable management concise and easy for our build.

Case: NZXT H7 Flow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case

A minimal and simple case to hide our powerhouse under the hood. The NZXT H7 has perforated panels for better cooling and intuitive cable management making our build easy to build in. Plus, the tempered glass panel will let you show off everything that went into it without opening the whole thing up

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-Bit USB

We can’t forget our operating system, and Microsoft Windows is easy to install and easy to use, making it our operating system of choice for new builds.

Monitor: ASUS Swift PG27AQDM 27" 2K QHD (2560 x 1440) 240Hz Gaming Monitor

1440p is our goal, and this OLED monitor is our ticket to greatness. ASUS has outdone themselves with this 240 Hz monitor, giving our build the best HDR picture quality, fast .03 GtG response times, and a custom heatsink to avoid OLED burn-in.
