Has anyone been able to confirm the 25th for the 3060 launch? I really want to get one for my newish build but didn't want to camp out if that is not the real launch date.
-
I haven't received any information just yet. As soon as we have any information about the 3060 release time, we'll update our community and our website!

Commenting here as I am on the hunt for a 30XX GPU. I've planned to take off work tomorrow and camp out in front of the Parkville Microcenter early tomorrow morning. The Parkville Microcenter is currently "closed due to weather" but I don't know if that will apply for tomorrow as well. Does anyone have an inside scoop on if the Parkville location will be open tomorrow? I assume the staff has to know, but that information isn't clearly communicated online.

I'm going to go pick up an i5-10600k tomorrow. Westbury NY. I think I'm going to go right around open (if they even are going to be open, but the roads seem fine), and I doubt any trucks are coming in this weather, but I will report my experience back here.
Only interested in a 3060ti.

Following up, there needs to be more clarity with regard to store hours. I went to bed not knowing if I should wake up early to get in line, but I woke up early just to be sure. When I checked online at ~7:30, the website still said "closed due to weather." I went back to bed and then when I woke up again, the store was saying it was open. I raced over to Micro Center and was able to get there before they opened, but there was already a line. Get this, I was literally the first person to NOT get a 30XX card as they ran out one person in front of me.

Damn mAn I feel your pain.i waited outside MC for 3 hours before opening.no 3080 but I did get a powercolor red devil 6800xt
-
Still going to try the 25th for a 3060 but no one seems to know if MC will have any stock. 😅
-
FYI, for those who plan to go to the Dallas location. There’s like 30 plus people in line at the Dallas location.
-
How can I know when they'll restock 3090's in the NY Westbury location?
-
you wont know.you have to physical go to the store and ask.you cant even call and get a answer on the phone.dont depend on the inventory webpage either because its archaic .
-
Hi, can someone help me out. I live about 20 mins from the Mayfield location and could go at anytime. What time do you think i should arrive if i want to snag a 3060 ti or 3070? Is it even worth going tomorrow?

Hello @ioutdsasdf
I've seen most customers are going to the store before it opens to see if we have received shipments. Most often we seem to receive shipments on the weekdays. I'm unable to promise when we'll be receiving any new shipments or offer when to expect a shipment will be delivered, but it seems that most have success going in the morning before we open.
Hope this helps.
-
do u recommend a certain time ? 5am 6am 7am 8am
-
@ioutdsasdf just chiming in. The earlier the better. The store opens at 10am, get there by 7:30am to have a chance to be in the first group to enter the store. If you can, show up at 5am and hang out till the line forms.

Any wind of the next shipment of the 30 series? I have to call of of work for these
-
Nope it's luck of the draw.
-
Any ideas for Marietta store on best day to go? Also how early do the lines normally start?
-
What's the best days and times to try and snag a 3060ti? Wondering how bad I have to screw my sleep schedule to try and be in line for one. For the Brentwood location

with regard to the new limited availability products process, if there are none in stock at the time of store opening, but a shipment is expected later in the day, are vouchers given to those who waited in the morning? if so, how does that process work? if not, will the people who wait early in the morning at least be informed of the potential shipment?
thanks in advance! -
Hello, our voucher FAQ can be found at:
-
I was wondering, me and my brother live in the same address can we both get in line to get the graphics card or just one of us can get it?
-
@Azzyung just chiming in. The GPUs are 1 per household (address). So only 1 card can be purchased for the address that you and your brother live at.
-
I was wondering because I am free on Friday but live 2 hours away from the Brentwood store. Would it be worth it to show up early for a 3060. I have seen the amount decline on the Newegg shuffle and was wondering if the stores were still getting a large amount of physical cards. If it is worth it generally how early should one show up?
-
@Cl4rky_56 below is our FAQ for limited availability items such as graphic cards. I've also included a post from another Community Forum User on how they were able to obtain a card from their MC store. Every store is different. But this should give you an idea or help you decide how early you want to get to the store.
Good luck.

EMPTY CHAIRS HOLD NO PLACE IN LINE, ONE PERSON, WITH GRANDMA AND SIX COUSINS THAT SHOW UP AT 9:45. This can no longer take place it's bad enough with the scalpers, and miners.

I've heard that the Fairfax, VA location posts on their window occasionally when they know they are getting shipments in. I'm about 2 hours away, but I'm willing to camp out all night if that's what it takes to get a chance at a 3080. Has anyone been by the Fairfax, VA location recently and seen if they have a date posted on their window? I am willing to drive up any night this week or next weekend, but I'm not certain if the Fairfax store actually posts anything because I've never heard of other Microcenters doing this. I'd really appreciate any info anyone could provide
